Omega OneFreshwater Flakes, 0.42 oz

This item was well packaged. When I opened the container the aroma hit me in the face, telling me the contents were fresh!

The fish (and guppies) love these flakes. After awhile you get to know how much to feed them.

The flakes are all pretty small in size for larger fish like angels, but the fish eat it up. I can't speak to how it has affected my fish's health because I only use it to add occasional variety to the normal new life spectrum food I feed.

My fish immediately went for these. Very happy.

Better ingredients than 90% of the products on the market. If you want better ingredients, you need to pay more or go for frozen or freeze-dried options. My fish love them.

Everything was described and delivered promptly. The large container will last a long time.

I have found that many local fish stores no longer carry omega one. The ones they carry now have wheat gluten and grains as the first ingredients. Omega One has whole fish, krill, and other whole foods. My fish do prefer this food over tetra, Hikari, and API

The cost was good for the size I thought it was. It is stellar for the size it is. We have 7 fish so it will be used quicker. If you only have one fish this is a big container, but good quality and nice big flakes.

Simple enriching ingredients that does not cloud your water.Would recommend but larger size for optimal use.Not your basic flake food, fry love it

The flakes are first rate and I think I will use them as a staple BUT unfortunately I received them with the top unscrewed and the seal open plus about 1/3 of the container was empty.I will source them from another supplier.

This food is probably really good for medium/large surface feeding fish, as it's really crisp so floats exceedingly well, and doesn't like to sink without some help. My fish are all small and none of them are surface feeders so to get it down to them I need to swish it around in a shot glass of tank water first, then when I pour it in, it sinks straight away. Possibly due to it's crispness/size of my fish, some of my fish (Copper/Lambchop Harlequins and Celestial Pearl Danio's) are a bit fussy with it and tend to spit it out, even crushed to very small flakes and still doing this after a few weeks feeding with it.

Bought it to feed guppies and platies, they love them. The only complain I have is that the flakes are majority very big, way too big for the fish’s mouth. I actually am worried it might choke them at times so I dip the flakes in water for around 10 seconds, when they soften a bit, i break them up before feeding them to the fish.
