I was going to wait but...
I just got this product in the mail today. I have 2 orchids that I bought/received years ago. Of course, they came with their original blooms but never bloomed again. Over the years, I have searched occasionally online for orchid care tips. I never really could find good information besides just general care. This past year, they finally started looking pathetic, besides just not blooming. I figured I would repot them, and went to Lowe's to buy some orchid media. I didn't know what kind of orchids I had, so I just bought the general purpose media. It was pretty much just bark, and I figured maybe that's why mine were doing bad. I also bought some orchid fertilizer from there. So I repotted them months ago, and fast forward to about a week ago, they still looked horrible (like they do above in the first picture). I finally decided I would do major research when I found the RePotMe website. I identified the orchids I *think* I have (phalaenopsis) and found some great care instructions on their site. I realized that if these were indeed phalaenopsis orchids, the bark media was horrible for them.I decided to buy their starter kit (from Amazon rather than their site since it was cheaper all around if you are a prime member) and got the supplies today. I just finished repotting them and I took some pictures to hopefully answer a couple of questions I had about this product before I purchased it. Mainly, I am bad at visualizing sizes, so I had no clue how big the two pots were, and I also had no clue if the provided bag of media would even be enough to fill 2 pots. So that is what the second and third pictures are for. I put my hand in the third picture so you can gauge the size of the two pots, and I showed the bag so you could see that there is PLENTY left over.At first, I was going to wait to write a review to see if their soil and fertilizer revived my plants, but then I decided that, first of all, it was not RePotMe's fault that I let my orchids get into such poor condition in the first place, and secondly, even if my orchids do die, I will feel a lot more confident that I can keep a new orchid alive now thanks to their website and instructions. As for the kit, in addition to the actual supplies, it came with pretty detailed instructions on how to fertilize. Specifically, how much fertilizer in the spring/summer vs. the fall/winter, and that every fourth week, you should not fertilize and instead, water really well to "rinse" the roots from salts left behind in the media. The media itself I hope is good. It looks and feels AMAZING, but compared to the bark, it was mostly moss. I hope that's what my orchids want. I honestly can't even remember what type of media I bought them in. I think it was a mix between the Lowe's bark media they hated and this. The moss was "broken up" by little tiny pieces of bark and some kind of natural "balls."So overall, the 5-star rating is for the instructions on the website and the quality of the product. Now I just have to hope it's not too late to save my poor orchids.PS, ignore the wall behind the photos... the kitchen is undergoing some renovation

Hope the first time re-potting is a charm!
It was a little hard to carefully re-pot because the moss was so thick and stringy; I was so afraid I was going to break the roots trying to pot the orchid. The roots had circled the outside of the old pot so there was a void in the middle of the roots, making the moss tough to pack--I have no idea how much of it got in there. The watering and fertilizing may have helped it settle well--I hope so. Time will tell how I did! As for the product, it was moist, with various mediums in it, and seemed very good quality. Instructions were pretty good, not great for a first-timer, but OK. I really want this orchid to survive and thrive--my husband and I bought it the year he passed away, so it's very special to me.

Broken pot.
I like the idea of the kit however, my pot was so broken that I couldn’t use it. I would have liked better repotting instructions. I’m new to orchids and I like instructions I can have in front of me and not a video.

Good starter kit
Received an orchid as a gift in a small pot with other succulents. It needed a new pot quickly. This was a good beginning complete kit to take care of moving the orchid to a new home. The orchid fit nicely in the smaller of the two pots. I have the large one for when it gets even bigger. It was nice to have food and potting soil that worked well. Note- There was no water catch tray with the pots.

A perfect all inclusive starter kit.
This was a great gift! The "soil" was composed of the three ingredients needed for orchids and the fertilizer was a balanced soil enhancer. It even came with stem clips and plant identifying label sticks. The plastic pot had appropriate holes necessary for water drainage. A really wonderful starter kit!

Easy Orchid Repotting
I have a mini orchid that was given to me 4 yrs ago when my mother passed away, making it very special to me. I have managed to keep it alive despite no knowledge of orchids at all! It seemed to be root bound in its tiny pot so I wanted to repot it. This product had great reviews so I decided to give it a try. The product itself was great and very easy to use. My only complaint would be that the instructions were vague, seemingly for experienced re potters. But I guess that’s what You Tube and Google are for?!? It’s been a month and my orchid seems to be doing wonderfully! Fingers crossed 🤞
