UGGMen's Ascot Slipper

This is my second pair of these slippers -- the first required little "breaking in" to tamp down the copious loft of the sheepskin lining in order to fit properly. This pair is so densely fluffy that I wear them a few hours a day to squash them but still pad the house more comfortably in my older pair -- even though (after 10 years) those are falling apart. So, I know they wear well but don't appreciate that they are not a comfy fit right out of the box. I note that others have given up on their proper size ever fitting and traded up; while some note that they can become looser with wear. I'm hanging in for the latter. I wear a 10 1/2 and ordered the 11 -- they remain very snug despite a couple weeks of trying to get them to fit. It seems too far off to go a size larger but that may be necessary if you wear a whole size. I'd recommend a 12 if you're a size 11, etc. But these are very well-made slippers. (The rubber bottom is to prevent slipping around the house and on stairs -- NOT for wearing outdoors as it does not cover the entire sole of the shoe. Get yourself some moccasins or boat shoes to keep by the door for popping outside. I don't know why folks would want to wear their slippers outdoors anyway -- the point is to have a pair of clean, indoor shoes without tracking in debris and dirt from outside. ) Well, that's just my opinion. I can't recall if it was these slippers or another brand years ago for which I ordered a replacement liner when that wore down too much. I work from home so I spend a LOT of time in my slippers. Despite the fact that I'm almost always cold, these slippers keep me toasty warm and sometimes too warm. If your feet run hot, you might not want a sheepskin lined product.

I read all these good reviews and had to try for myself. They are more expensive than others but knew they would be a good overall slipper. I already know they will last along time as they are built stronger/more durable than other slippers that look the same. I bought some amazon brand ones and the insoles fell apart after a month or two. I hope these last for years like I hear they should.

Probably the best slippers I’ve ever owned both from a comfort standpoint and fit. The sheepskin lining offers both warmth and softness unlike any slipper I’ve ever had. Although this isn’t offered in half sizes, going up to the next whole size does not impact comfort in my opinion. My regular size is 11.5 and a size 12 is still very comfortable. The overall quality is outstanding. No flaws or imperfections noted. You may ask yourself if this warrants spending the price? In my view, yes indeed! Your feet will thank you.

FYI: The material inserted into the slippers to help maintain their shape made them feel too big at first. They slipped off my heel with every step. It took a day or so for them to return to normal size. I wear size 14. They fit me perfectly. Excellent purchase for me.

My husband loves these shoes. He got his first pair when he had cancer 4 years ago. He wore them everyday when he was in the hospital and at home. He continued to wear them after the cancer went away and he wore them until he wore holes in the soles. He had to have another pair just like the first! This is the hallmark of a great product!

The ascot slipper is my go-to home slipper; comfortable, very long lasting and suitable for yearlong use (cold or hot - feet feel glorious inside). However, taking one star out because for the first few weeks of use, it sheds, and it does so a lot. I experienced this with all three pairs that I've had over the past 6 years - a bit annoying finding the fleece material in random corners of the house...

Love the color! Bought to wear with my favorite sport team pajamas because games are early in my time zone.

I have had these for a few months now.Amazon made a complete mess of the Try before you buy service - I have had DAILY emails since December last year saying the payment isn't going through, even though I use the same credit card for all my Amazon purchases. I phoned Amazon and they said it will sort itself out. Over 6 months later and a clogged in box ... so I don't recommend buying these on Try before you buy.They are super comfy and I found them true to size. I take a UK 10.5 to 11 and these are size 11. They were warm during the winter, but I have found them comfy during the summer too.I bought them at £86 and thought that was expensive. They are currently listed at around £115 which is a lot of money for slippers, so I can't say they are fantastic value for money. I am happy with them though and will have to see how long they last. So far so good.

La calidad de estas zapatillas (como está en la descripción - aunque yo las llamo pantuflas), es excepcional. Muy cómodas y seguras para caminar aún en pisos de madera que pueden ser algo resbalosos. Muy recomendables.

Nice slippers but come in too small. Even considering they will stretch after use, I'd prefer something true to size to start with
