Fitzpatrick's Color Atlas & Synopsis of Clinical Dermatology

4.5...is my rating on this book. I think I prefer their older version in a standard size normal sized textbook version with 500 pages instead of 1,000 pages...OMG...why would you change a textbook to a Nov'la...what are we reading Harry Potter or Narnia....OMG.... My only complaint is its...Too Funky (song by George Michael)....in other words, diseases are mentioned without TX and RX..treatment and remedy or cures. Nor is there a mention, NEF....not enough info...have a great day with fussball or nerfing...to be continued in the next edition....how about you have another chance to make this right in the next edition..hahaha...(One More Try by George Michael)...Freedom and Faith (also by George Michael)..not the same ideas nor concept...Fitzpatrics may need a Father Figure (also by George Michael) when all is said and done. The book is great...the writing small...I think I was squinting. The illustrations and pictorials AMAZING...I would definitely buy this book and will continue to keep up with Fitzpatrick.... The descriptions and format also great. At times I think a little verbose....save a page save congress...teach the page better than the legistlators and save Arbour Day. This is definitely your conscise Coffee Table Book....why are they not printed as such...OMG...mine eyes....all in all Amazing....my favorites...would be anything dermatology and Mc Graw Hill Dermatology Review...anything cosmetic definitely interesting.... Obviously, freedom is not that great when Fitzpatricks doesn't provide enough info on cosmetics... Was there something missing....sure perhaps...a chapter on medicaments and perhaps other dermatological sciences.....

Great reference...book can be a little overwhelming for we providers who aren't skin experts...but wonderful resource

I actually like this edition better than the new version. It has a better lay out and is easier to follow the bullet points. I have one in each patient room so they people can see exactly what there rash is. Must have for anybody!

Helped me immensely as a 4th year medical student rotating in Derm and I will keep it as a reference in Internal Medicine.
