Got it in just three business days via USPS from Florida!I really like this set. This would be great to start with, allowing to you find out what sizes you can handle before buying other toys. This was the main reason for my purchase. The first toy I purchased has a diameter of 7mm, and I really enjoy using it. I have seen others that I wanted, but the smallest was 8mm and I didn't know if I could handle it. After buying and using this set, now I know what I can handle, and what sizes to shop for.Each piece has a mirror finish and is double-ended (two sizes each), with a step transition in the middle. The step transition is more significant for the 3mm/4mm rod, reducing with each larger size. The ends have a taper ending with a nice radius, making insertion very enjoyable. The wallet is a nice touch, protecting and keeping the set organized.Length of each is about 8-1/6 inches (200-205mm).The sizes in this set range from 3mm/4mm up to 17mm/18mm, too many in my opinion. I can't imagine using anything larger than 12mm, at least, not in this way. I'd rather there be fewer rods, and that they were a couple inches longer.I would caution everyone, especially first timers, to use the 3mm/4mm rod with extreme care. Because it is so slim, it seems you could puncture yourself with it. This should not be of concern with the larger sizes.The angled ends of the rods concerned me, but it is not as drastic as it appears in the photo. Perhaps the mirror finish and lighting exaggerates this feature.Because these rods are fairly straight, there is nothing to keep them from disappearing down inside of you. If that happens, don't panic; they can't go anywhere. That happened to me the first time I used the 7mm/8mm rod while I was sitting down. I am of average size, so that's not the reason. I stood up and it slowly reappeared after about 10 seconds. Now I enjoy having it in there.

The quality of my sounds have been great thus far although I only use two to three of the sounds out of the set. The smallest one I never use as i feel it could easily pierce/damage the urethra and the three largest ones I just laugh at. I still can't believe there are people who can actually use the larger rods in this set, and I personally do not think I ever will.All are stainless steel and clean up easily enough in boiling water. The smooth surface feels great and slides in and out just fine with plenty of lube. The only downsides I found with using this set is that they are hollow so you have to apply some amount of force to get them inside instead of just use their weight to go in on their own. The smooth surface can make them hard to hold/handle with lubricated hands, and there are no stops anywhere on these rods so be cautious when inserting. I've learned to leave a good portion of the rod outside of my body so that it doesn't slip down any farther than I want it to and disappear completely inside the urethra.I was planning on using this as a dilation set since each rod is a step up from the previous rod measurement, however, I found the step up to be quite steep on the third smallest rod to where I can just get it in, but the fourth rod is so much larger that it is impossible to play with at the moment. The size variation is nice, but I find most of the set outside of the current three I'm able to use is useless. The case is nice though and I use it to keep other sound devices in it along with this set.If you're a beginner looking to get into sounding I would suggest you pass on this and find yourself a couple of nice silicon plugs/sounds first. There are some on the market that will even help you with dilatation/stretching if that's what you ultimately are trying to do. I wouldn't consider these to be the best for that type of activity as they are way to hard of a material and the sizes are just to much to ask for your body to conform to right out the gate.

I came across these looking at other things. Did some research and then talked to my wife about it. I thought she would be totally against the idea. Did she surprise me. It was the complete opposite. She ordered them with the surgical lube and alcohol swabs. We received them in half the time of the estimated shipping date. The case is cheap but it works. The sounds are polished smooth with no sharp or rough spots. The two sizes on one makes it easy to move up a size. She actually enjoys it more than I do. She says it rubs areas like never before. New exciting feeling. I would like to see them make an half mm step (example 7.0mm to 7.5mm), instead of 1mm step that they have. I use the 7to8mm and my wife uses the 9to10mm. We both would like to go up one, but can't, due to the step is too much. Be careful with the smaller ones. The smaller they are the more pointed they are. The 3-4mm is a too pointed. I don't know how anybody could use over a 12mm. Above that to us is useless. So we will only use half of the sounds. That's ok though.

Sounds can be used for medical reason but today many men are having a fun time using them for sexual play. I have been interested in sounding play for a good while, but had not explored using them. That was until I found the sounds for sale. I have had them for about a week and have had some great solo fun with myself. They are nice sized to play with, smooth surfaced and feel great in the hands as you use them. They are about 10 inches long with two sizes per sound, so I suggest you start with the smaller size, you will be able to get to the larger size as you play. To see just an inch of the sound were there had been 10 inches was amazing. Set up to play with extra hand towels and do use a sterile water based lubricant to ease insertion of the sound. Have one extra towel as you will be able to enjoy sounding to competition. Have two goals with my sounds to increase the size that I can play with and to introduce them to a play partner, so he can enjoy the wonderful sensations that being sounded can provide.
