This rug is super cute, but wasn't expecting it to be as thin as a placemat. It arrived rolled up, so I needed to put some effort into flattening it by putting weights on each side for a day or two. Once flattened, it's very thin but I love the colors and the accent to any room! I'd recommend it, but be aware it's thin.

I really should have listened to all the bad reviews. Don’t buy, there’s a reason it’s only ten dollars. Slippery, doesn’t lay flat. Pattern is different than pictured. Junk.

It's a little thicker than I thought it would be, so it doesn't fit as an inside doormat because the door just knocks it away, so I use it at my desk instead. I get a lot of compliments on my cool desk chair mat.

The design is printed on the mat. Looks cheap. Not what I expected. Very thin and cheap looking

I didn't expect a lot from this due to the price and the other reviews, and indeed like others, this one came folded up and the folds haven't relaxed so that it doesn't lay flat. I've now gotten it wet and it's laying outside drying. This seems to be helping, so hoping it relaxes into a nice, flat shape soon.Also, yes the top of it is made of a very silky-feeling material which causes it to indeed be a little slippery, especially in socks. Sort of like walking on a silk carpet or wood floor. On the other hand, it feels very soft and silky on bare feet, which is nice. But some people may not like that, or may find it a bit unsteady for stepping on it with wet shoes or something (I could see someone who is elderly possibly slipping on it in stocking feet) - but personally I find it nice. It doesn't bother me at all, and I've not slipped on it yet.On the other hand, some have said the bottom isn't sturdy and doesn't have the ability to stick/stay on the ground, that it's not cushioned or a mat that will stay in place. Not true for me at all - there's plenty of cushion (for a doormat) and it definitely sticks on the ground just fine, no slide when you step on it. So not sure where that was coming from.The pattern is beautiful, the colors true to the picture, and it looks like it won't fade very quickly. It is a printed-on pattern, but looks good and solid, not faded or as if it won't hold up over the long run. Honestly, even if it didn't hold up for a long time, at this price, it's really a bargain no matter what, and unless you're worried about the silky/slippery texture of the material on top (which I think will also relax over time and probably be more textured as it gets used, and therefore not slippery anymore), I'd say this is a nice mat for your home, especially if used indoors. I have mine inside coming off of my deck, and I'm very pleased with it overall... so long as it finally lays flat!

The picture led me to believe it was a small woven rug, but it is actually a big printed piece of material which seems more like a placemat than a rug. The colors are much duller as well. Looks cheap, feels cheap, is cheap.

It is a beautiful design, it is thinner than I thought it would be, but I have it on my front porch and I am happy with it

This is more like a piece of slippery fabric with a thin plastic backing. It is not an entry rug and won’t hold up to high traffic areas.
