To keep rats and mice out but doesn’t work the critters pull it out

Bought this based on suggestion from pest control company to keep mice from getting into outdoor air conditioning unit. After repairs to system, we asked our pest control company for a solution. This was the suggestion so we're giving it a try. Buy more than you think you'll need. The actual spool is smaller than the view on-line. It's fairly easy to ball-up and stuff into any hole/opening. But I don't think you want it too dense but the instructions weren't clear. We just did what seemed to make sense. If it works, it'll be an inexpensive solution to what can be an expensive problem.

Very efficient , came in less than 24 hours. Was appreciated !

It works if you are patient in wrapping. It can over stretch. Some snails still managed to jump over the mesh. Not 100%.

Did not know what to expect but pleasantly surprise. Sturdy mesh. Will find out if it works to stop mice from go into my garage.

When cutting little pieces came off

I used this mesh around my cucumbers and squash plants for insect control (slugs and grubs). Initially it seemed to work great, but soon it curled up and just about disintegrated. Did not even last one growing season. I will not be buying this in the future.
