Great product but hate the smell. The product itself came in the mail with some of it dripping on the outside, but I rinsed it off. They should have shipped it in something else besides a bag, but Amazon often ships things in the wrong/weird/oversized packaging so none of that was surprising. A tip I love to use when dying my hair is to use petroleum jelly along my hairline and on the tops of my ears, that way it doesn't dye my skin.Now for the good stuff. Covered everything great. Went to my hair stylist the next day. She commented on how little gray I had in my hair. I told her I used a dye shampoo and she had no idea. She said the color looked really pretty and brought out my highlights quite well. Anyways, I think with how easy this was to use and the fact that it looks natural, I will probably buy it again.

I wanted to wait until I used this product a few times before reviewing it, and after using it 2x in 6 months (have a lot of hair, just passed my shoulders), to cover my grays I am BEYOND THRILLED with it!1st, purchased DARK BROWN because I read it covered the grays the best.What a GORGEOUS color!It highlights itself beautifully as my hair becomes exposed to the sun due to work, taking long walks, going on our nature trails or gardening.Beautiful!Have had a number of compliments!2nd, still have product left for other applications. It is rich and NOT runny! Excellent to work with.3rd, I have never, ever, DIY hair colored before, and was petrified!After a botched job by a new beautician (my stylist moved), and spending $$ to get that horrible job done to boot, decided to try my hand at DIY4th, here is how I apply it after watching a number of different videos. Hope it's useful for you too:I shake the bottle very well before applying.Use stained towels to cover sink and all around me, just in case a drop makes it's way where it shouldn't (again, it is NOT runny).Obviously use plastic gloves and cover top with small stained towels I tuck into neckline to keep in place1st apply to my grays around my face, and at top of head where it naturally parts towards the back (my grays are more pronounced around front of my face vs anywhere else), and leave it on for about 1 to 2 minutes maximum.Then I apply in sections all around my head. Rub it thoroughly in, obviously not too crazily to avoid knotting my hair. Almost more like massaging it in vs hard rubs.I then take a wide toothed comb, and comb it through CAREFULLY to avoid spillage onto floor, and take the product on the comb to rub back in wherever I feel it is necessary.Rub it all in again (I do not add more product at this point, I massage thoroughly all around what is already there), comb through again, gently add excess off comb again where needed (pat it in this time), and set timer to lowest number of minutes, given that it took me a bit to do this (I work VERY slowly, maybe you won't I am still petrified, so am cautiously working this in).I then rinse THOROUGHLY as noted, towel dry, and style as usualLeaves hair super soft yet NOT flat. Love this product!Now, the 1st time I used it I did notice a funky odor to the product and my hair until I washed it with shampoo a few days later.That did not, at all, occur the 2x I used the product. Could be that it was sitting a bit in the container (I REALLY shook it the 2nd time, more than the 1st time).Will absolutely 💯 be ordering this product again when it runs out.Am SOOO happy with the results and ease of use, not to mention how it beautifully holds color as it also naturally highlights itself (and does NOT bleed through). I have been trying dyes for years and this has been, without a doubt, the most effective to cover my gray hair. The color was uniform, natural and without that "orange" tone that other products leave. The application was simple, the smell was not aggressive and the best: the color lasted several weeks without fading. 100% recommended for those looking for a reliable solution!

Smells like chemicals, but works amazingly. Haven't dyed my hair since I've grown it out from a pixie cut. So i used the dye on my virgin hair, no bleaching, just dirty from natural oils. I mainly used it to cover my natural grey because I started to feel like an old lady. (started greying in my teens, thanks genetics....) I'm glad i didn't wait 30min and went with 15min like the bottle said. It turned my hair a darker shade than i like but did the job! I rinsed till clear, used a clarifying shampoo, and applied a light conditioner. thankfully the dye didn't suck the life out of my hair, not too awefully drying, like I've had other dyes do. It will stain if you let it sit too long on counters or floor. So far I haven't had any of the color from my damp or dry hair rub off on anything. Only 4 stars cause the smell is weird.

I used it once and it realy GOOD, easy to use good color and soften the hair and made it shineThe size could be enough for few times so the price is reasonable ....glad i bought it ....
