Easy to use. But please buy memory card as advertised as its difficult to purchase on high Street.It records voice and video and is discrete.In todays society you never know.Highly recommended

No instruction manual. Power button does not work. Received item promptly. All accessories were intact, except instruction manual. Watched operation on Youtube, but this upgraded (2022) would not even click at the button. Tried several times. Asked neighbour also to have a look, in case I was doing something wrong, but he had same problem. Perhaps this is just one faulty item. Sadly, I have had to return it. Hesitant about making a different selection of another such product.Very disappointed!

Doesn't have standby, no quality to the videos, it's not worth it at all. The seller did not respond to my feedback as I wanted to sort first with them not give a bad review.

The media could not be loaded.  This little gadget has a lot in such a small package, it has a working ballpoint pen with spare refills, a camera which takes photos and video, a microphone to record audio, a rechargeable battery and even comes with a 32gb micro SD card.Recorded audio is clear enough to be used as a small dictaphone if you don’t mind people staring while you talk to a pen.The video quality is very acceptable for something so small and there is no evidence of it recording, very sneaky. It’s easy to operate once you’ve familiarised yourself with the controls. It also has motion detection so can be used as a security camera.Photos are ok but remember this isn’t the latest smartphone so don’t expect super sharp image.The pen even writes well, so no one will suspect you’re a secret agent on a mission haha.With a 32gb memory card you can get quite a lot of recordings stored before you need worry about space, but it will rewrite over the oldest recordings first if you need leave it recording permanently.For the price it’s a great gizmo and no ‘secret agent’ should be without one.

The media could not be loaded.  The Zunhai mini HD spy camera is quite a chunky pen, it is heavier and thicker than a Parker pen for example, That said, it doesn’t feel too uncomfortable in my medium sized hands and it does write well, it also looks quite smart with its glossy black finish and wouldn’t look out of place in a jacket pocket.I did find selecting operating modes to be quite fiddly, in particular, remembering to press the button once to stop recording, I found myself pressing the button for too long and losing the recording. That’s always going to be the case though if you just have one button performing multi functions.Basically the operation is as follows:Press the button for 2s to power on and enter standby modeFrom standby mode:A single press of the power button takes a pictureTwo short presses of the power button starts motion detection recordingThree short presses of the power button starts audio only recordingOne 2s button press of the power button starts normal video recording.A short press of the power button from any mode puts the device back into standby mode.There is a small LED that aids in identifying the modes of operation but you can’t see that outdoors unless you shade it from sunlight.The video recording in sunlight is not bad, but in artificial light the video is noisy and colours are washed out, basically it performs similarly to the older, low spec phone cameras. The audio recording quality isn’t too bad.The videos are recorded at 1080p and 30fps using the MJPG codec, with the audio part recorded as 16bit PCM at a bit rate of 256Kb/s in mono format and it is stored as an AVI, audio only recordings use the same parameters but are stored as wave files. In my sample video, the video was being stored at a rate of 3MB/s.Despite some shortcomings, this device does all that is required of it and at a reasonable price, it also comes with a 32GB memory card and a USB 2 card reader.
