The hose which came with pump was shorter, had to buy a new hose.

The media could not be loaded.  Ordered yesterday (Sun) arrived today. Does what it is supposed to, BUT it traps A LOT of air. Water pumps will not pump air, so even though I put the pump into the water at 45 degree angle (as per instructions) it takes a long (Too long if you are in a rush) to pump the remaining air out, and the water to flow. The lay flat discharge hose is great, but as it's lay flat, it easily kinks reducing water flow (Make sure you lay it flat and straight before you start)Once it's running (It does use only 250 watts, I checked) it does as It's supposed to, so far I am happy. If you want to pump out say a hot tub, like most sump pumps it will only pump down to around 2 inches, and it does take its time, but me? I am in no rush. Nice price too.

It didn't work from new, just buzzed, the advertised 'Piece of mind 3 Year warranty' is useless, you ring them, they tell you an engineer will call you back, who doesn't. You ring again and speak to an engineer after insisting and he tells you he will email you return details, a link appears on an email, which expires quickly and you have to reapply to sign into their web-site with a new account. There is no request or information for a return so you have to raise your own request to return it. Still waiting 3 weeks since the issue arose and no further forward. Customer service at its worst, you have to jump many hurdles and there is nothing "Piece of mind" about any of it, I just wanted my pump replaced its not difficult, have had to buy another pump from elsewhere a bad reflection on the supplier and Amazon.
