Great traps. Enclosed to protect other animals. Used with peanut butter to great effect. The two nits I have are that its hard to clean the peanut butter out of the little "well" within the trap. To open and close the top requires sliding left of right and its hard to line up. Those are minor annoyances and these are excellent traps.

I can't really tell if it works well or not as i have yet to catch a rat in it. The design seems to be well thought out. It's easy to set the traps and is waterproof so you can use it outside.

This did not work for mice. It was too large and we actually reordered something smaller for mice. Our goal was to capture mice, so gave 3 stars as I think this is a good quality product for rats but not so good on mice.

They are too hard to set off so the mice are literally taking the bait even sitting inside of it licking off peanut butter and leave the traps unharmed as none of 6 traps go off. This is all of them not just one kind as I bought 2 diff kinds and 6 total traps same issue with all. Wastes my money I didn't have to waste as I am disabled. Very unhappy customer deff don't recommend plus the are super hard to even push down to set being disabled makes it impossible I had to get a friend to help.

Use the sweetest and gooiest sweets w some bird seed and bingo It worked. Bought 2 and less than a week I got 10. Yes 10. If you need it buy it. No poison to kill any other wildlife. Safe and effective. Buy it !!

Does it catch & kill rodents? Yup. Downside you wind up getting real up close and personal with the corpses afterwards. If there were an exterior release the bodies button, that'd be much preferable but as is you're unsheathing the lid, then releasing the trap. So if you've got a dissolving corpse from the elements, makes for an unpleasant experience. I'm sure there's some applications where this would be a preferable design, for exterior house rodent mitigation, not the best for me.

Just on my way out to barn to place it. Set up was easy. Trap(s) seem very sturdy compared to some of the others I have bought. Putting this in the pen with my chickens - and loved how this product can be in there and safe to use around my birds. Beware of getting anything delivered on a Sunday. For me,, the last 5 or 6 months - product says delivery made and not anywhere on my property and found one product no where even near the house. I am disabled - this was barely at the top of the drive. Looks like he opened a door and threw it out. Excited to get trap out there and save on chicken feed. BTW - this rant was for Amazon Sunday driver - the product looks above and beyond what I expected.
