I LOVE this harness for my elderly frail father. One drawback solely due to the NATURE of the problem - NOT the product: My dad more and more easily slides into a slump - making a harness necessary to prevent him from sliding out of a wheelchair - but when he slides, the harness is like getting wedgie (sp?). Once adjusted for tightness the harness is extremely easy to snap on and off - but if you have a “slider” you will tire out from taking the harness on and off to reposition. This is a very high quality product. I find absolutely nothing wrong with the product. At first I thought it would look/feel like I had my dad is a straight jacket. Absolutely my dumbest worry. The design and pretty blue material give more the feeling/look of a vest. My dad says it’s very comfortable - until he slides. I have no regrets buying this product and I sincerely encourage everyone to buy it. It gives me and my dad great comfort to know he won’t fall out of the wheelchair at least when being transported. Until my dad deteriorates more, I can still undo the harness when we are just sitting. I am treasuring the short amount of time my dad will remain comfortable enough to stay in the harness to keep getting him out of his room. It won’t be long before he will slide automatically out of position. The Assisted Living Facility does not/won’t/can’t (?) use the chair designed for people who can no longer sit up in a wheelchair. Those chairs are bulky, labor intensive and not visually fitting for a facility that strives for a more homey (versus nursing home) look. I wish I had known/thought about that before selecting my dad’s Assisted Living facility.

This is perfect for my son it's a little big on him but once I leaned the wheel chair back a little it was a little more snug than before. Kinda complicated to put on woth one person but other than that it's grate!

I bought this for my father so he felt secure in the wheel chair as he would slide. He was super excited about the pocket to stick his phone in and comfortable!

This item doesn't adjust very well for a thin person.

I didn't like that the straps across are so short. My mom gained weight in the nursing home so now it does not fit

This product works well for what it was designed to do. I had a problem with attaching it on the person and wheel chair. It seems that the belts were thread in correctly, very hard to adjust.

I tried this on my sister that has cerebral palsy. She sleeps on the wheelchair and slumps forward, but this keeps her in the chair.Just make sure you hear the clicks when securing.
