Clarifier | Keeps Water Clear & Odor Free Naturally in Saltwater and Freshwater Aquariums

I recently setup an Aqueon 75 gallon and am big on clean tanks, neat aquascaping, plants, and really like my water to look as clear as possible. I'm being optimistic although I just installed today. I'll definitely follow-up in near future. By the way, Aqueon rimmed tanks have a pretty thick rim. I had to remove the blue rubber spacer entirely and it was still tight tight tight. Was crossing my fingers it didn't crack or break. I'll probably get a file to thin down the rim in that one spot later. Although I shouldn't ever need to move it again. I'll get back in the near future but keeping fingers crossed.Update Jan 2023: I really wish I could say this thing works as well as they say it does. Honestly I have no idea. I have two great filters running with one dedicated to polishing the water. I really have no idea if the clarifier is doing anything. Maybe I'll unplug it for a month or two and see if any difference.

Update......after 4 days I got to witness the positive results I expected! Just my luck they're out of stock everywhere. I plan to buy more!! Just received this today. Setup was really easy and I got both blue lights (which is what you want) right away. Was a little snug fit on the 125 gallon older tank I have but it did fit after pushing the blue part almost all the way out. I will definitely update my review in a few weeks or so. Wish me luck!!

I bought this device to maintain my 75 gallon tank clarity. Not sure why my very spunky and social blood parrot fish are afraid of it. My husband made me unplug it thinking it may have adverse reactions on my fish. Wish I had more information on this. Very easy to set up. Silicon pushes out or in for a snug fit. There are two small circulation holes located perfectly on the bottom of device. Blue light came on ready for action as soon as I plugged the cord in.

It's taking a long time to work? So far I don't see any improvement? I'm kinda disappointed??

It is so easy to hook up and makes the stuff the protein skimmer takes out black! Only had it on for six days but see a huge difference! Very clear water, smells clean, and protein skimmer fluid smells gross! I also have one of those probes to take electricity out of water and a uv sterilizer, this thing has both blue lights on and working great! I was worried that they might not work together but they do! If you love your fish and corals give this a try! And now with the price so low you just have to try it! I never write reviews by the way but wanted to help other aquarium lovers!

I only purchased 1 of these items here on this transaction, I also shared the product details with my daughter who bought 2 of these. She is running 1 each for her salt water tank and 1 for her freshwater tank. While I installed 1 of these units in the top right corner next to the return of my 300 gallon tank. I was surprised to see the results, while I was a little skeptical of a new technology that would help clear my water. The following day I could already see a change in clarity that was not already there. With in a week, I was able to see through from the left side through the water through the glass on the right side. My tank is 8 feet long, which I was surprised on the result of this little device. I also have a custom 150 gallon custom sump tank below in the cabinet. Initially I was thinking about buying 2 of these devices for my 300 gallon, since it was referenced in the product specifications it’s rated for a 300 gallon, but I wasn’t sure if that also factored in things like a sump tank below the main tank, which is what something most people have with large salt water tanks. I was also surprised to see my skimmer being able to obtain an increased amount of bad stuff being collected in the collection cup of the protein skimmer. The controls of the protein skimmer were all left the same operational speed, but now seeing a doubled amount of contents being collected in the protein skimmer after running this device in my tank for 1 week.I can confirm for certain the water clarity of my tank improved overall.

The box says it doesn’t clear bacterial blooms (cloudy), which defeats the whole purpose in the first place. The package insert denotes patience and asks you wait 30 days for the water to clear up. That’s because these con artists know that any proper filtration setup (carbon-activated media + filter foam + biological media) will clarify your tank water in a month and keep it that way anyway, and because the buyer won’t get a refund after the purchase return window expires. At first I thought it was just a tankless water softener. Then I thought maybe it’s just an aquarium mini ozone generator of sorts. I started suspecting something wasn’t right when I learned it’s “patent pending,” which probably means their patent application keeps getting rejected or they’re not actually requesting any patents since they know it’s a scam. Not to mention the absurdly tiny holes for the water to pass through. A water polishing pad of 100 or 50 microns works a little better than Poly-Fil and will give you crystal clear water in just 48 hours.

I don’t know how this thing works but it does! I’ve moved it between tanks and the water clears up after a while each time. Just wish it wasn’t so expensive.
