This is very lovely wire. However I am no expert on wire sizing.. But when I ordered this single roll of "8" guage 25ft long , I also ordered a 4 pack of 10 guage 50ft long rolls. They all came the same day and same box. I opened the 4 rolls first.. And looked at the cut end to see wih my own eye the size and I was actually surprised it was basically what they said and what I had invisioned as far the guage size. Then I opened this roll.. (I was actually most excited for this wire.. Show wire.. Clear blue.. 8 guage. Wait.. What.. No.. That looks smaller than the 10 guage I just opened.. No.. Can't be.. I look at the label.. Says 8 guage.. But to my naked eye.. It did look just s smidg smaller than the 10..not for sure., but this for sure I will say.. It was absolutely NOT bigger than the 10guage. But.. I kept it anyway.. It is very pretty wire and easy to work with.

Feels like a 10 gauge rather than a 8. I just compare it to my other wires and just look smaller, like a 10 gauge. Still is a good wire though specially for the price
