My nephews loves his moms real one so I decided to get this for his birthday and he loves it.

This vacuum is more frustrating for my almost 3 year toddler than it is fun. He cries at least once every time he tries to use it because it is so cheaply made and it is difficult for his little fingers to empty the bin or change out the attachments. Everything gets stuck and requires an adult to help with every little thing. Plus you have to hold the button down to make it work. And the rechargeable battery sucks! Oh, and one more thing, every time you have to remove the battery in order to charge it and unscrew the screw in order to open the battery compartment, it will strip the screw little by little each time until you won’t be able to open it at all anymore.. As a mom, I dislike this toy very much. Since this purchase, I’ve gotten him a different one. It doesn’t have the handheld feature, but works great, more power behind it, and way less frustration.

The plastic feels cheaper - lighter weight than the casdon Dyson version and worst of all at the joint where the tube connects to the vacuum head the plastic piece slips right off the tube rather than disconnecting at the joint. It happens as my kid plays with it. This happened the same day we opened it no wear and tear at all. Unfortunately I had gotten it for my daughter’s birthday in advance so the return window was closed! We also have the Casdon Dyson and it’s much better, has lasted many years.

We had the Dyson brand toy vacuum and the quality was excellent.This one came with no instructions and while it was relatively easy to put together the little foam pieces that go in that go in the container were a complete disaster. I poured them into the canister as I’m guessing that’s where they go and they came spilling out of the vacuum tube alllllllll over the floor. So either I missed a step or this is the design and it’s terrible. I ended up having to just toss them all out.The long orange tube is not adhered in place so it keeps falling off the vacuum.I guess you could say it works if you’re just looking for a cheap option but I wouldn’t recommend wasting your money

Each time I vacuum with my real Dyson, my daughter wants to play with it, once I found this toy vacuum she feels like she is actually vacuuming and helping around the house. We love it!
