Q: what is the length of the strap drop?

The purse is adjustable. I'm wearing it with a 24" drop and it easily has another 5 or 6 inches that could be adjusted from there. Perfect crossbody organizer purse. I love mine for travel but have been using it everyday.

Q: Are there additional pockets in the main compartment?

Yes, on each side of the main compartment. One with a zipper (I keep my cash there) and one without (I put receipts there). I really like this purse. It has held up really well over the years and with the outside credit card pocket, I don't need a wallet.

Q: Is the ebony bag brown or just a softer black than the black bag?

The Ebony bag is brown, brown, brown. I don't understand why it's called ebony since ebony is a shade of black. This bag is brown.

Q: Would an iPad Mini fit in this bag?

I have an iPhone 6 and it fits with room to spare. Not sure what the size difference is compared to an iPad mini, but I think it would be OK.
