These candles are great! I do like a different set I got better, but they were also advertised differently - so it would be apples to oranges to truly compare the two.These have a nice wax coating that helps them to look more realistic and the light is a good brightness. One thing I would change if I could, is that the rim of the candle varies between the four of them. They all follow the same up and down pattern on the top of the candle. This can be obscured a little bit by turning the candles at different angles, but it definitely still is noticeable. This doesn't hurt the functionality of the candle (so no star removal for that) but I do think it would make the candles look even more realistic!If you need nice faux candles that are pretty realistic but won't break the budget - these are for you! They're affordable, good quality, and have a great look.

I bought this candle set originally for a Christmas display, but I have been so pleasantly surprised by so much of the "extra" details I have been using them for everything! I love the fact they are made of real wax but are battery powered! No headache of having to clean up wax drippings or worry about smoke! The light that is emitted is a soft, warm amber glow. After ordering multiple battery operated candles and being disappointed, and returning them bc the color was either too orange or to yellow this was PERFECT! The soft cream exterior color is perfect! I love the option to either have the candles do a steady "burn" or use the timer function to shut off after 12 hours. I will purchase this product again that's for sure!

We use these as night lights around the house, and they're pretty good. They look great, they last for hundreds of hours, they're not too bright, and they give the room a nice bit of ambiance. My only complaint is that the color of the light is a little off -- too yellow, I think -- so it isn't a perfect reproduction of real candle light. (I was able to tweak the color a little by using a heavy inking of red marker on the "wick" area, as too red looks better to me than too yellow.) That's a very small issue for an otherwise excellent product.

These are a nice warming decoration piece for my window, a cozy flickering yellow glow for the Fall Season. I also placed one in my guest bath, a worry free decor. The timer is a nice feature and easy. Insert batteries and slide towards "Timer" vs "On" depending on use and preferences. I priced a single six inch candle at a department store at $12, same wax look and timer feature. So, clearly the Hayley Cherie price is right, I purchased two sets. I'm hoping the set I'm using on the timer feature doesn't burn through battery life span to quickly. Currently this is a Five Star Purchase barring battery life.....I'll give an update on my review hopefully later than sooner.

Nice product. I have others that do not have a timer function, so I bought these specifically for that function. I think that the others I have are thicker-walled, which makes them feel more sturdy. The others are also vanilla scented. Person preference, of course, but I kind of like that. These are unscented.Dinging these 1 star for quality control. The largest pillar did not come with a battery compartment cover. Not a huge deal as these are largely stationary in kept indoors, but it's kind of a stupid thing to overlook in QC.

These candles are lovely. They came in a timely manner, were packed well and damage free. The look and feel like real candles. Battery installation was easy and I have one in a fall lantern arrangement. It comes on at the time I want it to and goes off 5 hours later. I decided to gift one of them to my daughter to use in her new home. I have no idea how long the batteries will last, but they are not too costly, so I am sure I can keep the candles burning as long as I desire.

Overall, these candles do achieve their purpose and provide a warm, soft, candle lit glow as advertised. The depth of the wick/flame varies depending on candle height and in the taller candles is completely hidden, but is visible in the smallest candle, so that's something to consider if it matters to you. I didn't have a preference either way. The amount of flicker is very subtle and less noticeable compared to other flameless candles I have bought and the flicker has more of a "blinking" quality and has less appearance of movement than other flameless candles I have used.The main reason I docked two stars was due to the outside finish of the candles. I'm not sure how best to describe it, so I will include a close up photo to show what I mean. The outside wax is almost streaked or marred across the candle in a way that is clearly not intentionally part of the product. It almost appears to be snags in the wax. These streaks are present on all 4 candles and are visible from across the room. It doesn't show up in the farther away picture of 2 of the candles. I had a hard time capturing this streaking in photos because my phone did not focus well on them, so I tried taking a picture closer and you can see it on photo of the single candle about midway down. Trust me when I say these are much more noticeable to the eye in person than they are in the photos. I have not encountered this with any other real wax flameless candles I have tried. Overall they are ok, and at this price point I really can't complain.

I was searching for some flameless candles and ran across this great find! The candles came well packaged and each require one AA battery (yay!) I set the timers on each one to turn on at 8pm and off by 1am. Works perfectly! It's awesome not having to search for a remote to turn them on. The candles feel like a real candle too, which makes them even better! I loved them so much I decided to purchase a second set. Can't beat that price!
