Epiphone Starling Dreadnought Acoustic, Starlight Blue

This was a perfect gift for my daughter who just turned 16. She loves it and is looking forward to learning. It was packaged nicely.

I’ve always wanted my own guitar and with the price of this item I was able to purchase it. Love the color. Love the little details great product great purchase would definitely buy again. I even sent one to my friend as a gift.

This is amazing quality. The only thing I'll say is you get more when you order it straight off the company's site as it comes with picks and stuff. This is honestly worth it though in my opinion.

The guitar sounded a little clanky out of the box so took it to the local shop for an adjustment and it's sounding as great as it looks now.

At 58, I'm just getting back into playing after a 40 year hiatus. I've always like the Gibson and Epiphone Dove and Hummingbird guitars. This is kind of a beginners version of those 2 guitars. Very affordable, good quality guitar. Plays well and looks terrific. A really nice entry entry level guitar. It's also available in a player pack for $199 which includes the guitar, gig bag, 3 picks, a digital clip-on tuner, and a guitar strap. That's what I bought and it's definitely worth the extra $50 if you don't have those items already.

I really should’ve done a better job managing my expectations with this purchase. I was excited given the price, and knowing Epiphone is owned by Gibson. Jason Isbell says he throws a new guitar in a room by itself and turns the rap up extremely loud, to break in a guitar. It might help this guitar. It’s a beautiful guitar, it’s going to make you work to play it. I think I’ll start in changing the strings to better suit me.

Plays fine and sounds like a regular, basic acoustic guitar.It has good action and it looks great. Overall a good beginner to intermediate level guitar. (Not considering $5000 and up guitars here, just stuff normal people can afford)Hope you enjoy yours cuz you're gonna buy it, there's no real competition except other Epiphone guitars. They're on their own level.
