The Funki Flamingo is a fantastic stretchy wrap, it allows hand's free snuggles for mama, who often finds her baby only sleeps when being held. It's especially handy if you have a toddler already, or if you need to get house hold tasks done, or simply need to make yourself something to eat! It makes the day to day operations of having a young baby much smoother and more peaceful, without sacrificing closeness and cuddle time. Baby is so content hearing their mum's heart beat and being able to smell her skin. It's also much more convenient than a pram if you are nipping out quickly or going food shopping. it can be pre-wrapped before you get in the car, and used multiple times with baby 'in and out' without having to re- wrap.I have used quite a lot of carriers and some of my favorite features of the Funki Flamingo are :- The 5% spandex / 95% cotton blend makes this a perfect wrap for new mums and first time 'wrappers'. It's easy to get a secure wrap with plenty of strength and forgiveness.- Some problems with other wraps are they are too wide, and when you have a young baby, this can either cause a lot of bunched up fabric or over extending of the legs. The funki flamingo is just the right width to allow a good seat compliant with T.I.C.K.S guidelines from newbornThe fabric is lovely to touch, its a very supportive and comfortable wrap to wear! I love the gender neutral grey that honestly 'goes' with whatever mum is wearing. It's light weight which makes it great for warmer days. I already have bought extra's for baby shower gifts.

Update I’ve been using it for a few weeks now and very happy with it still and my son is very happy in it.I had a sling wrap with my son and I paid 3x more than this one and was about to buy the same one again when I saw this one and I was very surprised how good it was for the price the material is nice and soft as well,I’m also plus sized size uk 18/20 currently still pregnant 28wks so got a big bump on me and this still had some extra material to go bigger if I was any bigger so definitely recom If your plus sized. Comes with good instructions on ways to wear it I still remember how to do it for my first baby so didn’t need them can be abit tricky the first few times you do it but once you know it’s easy to do. Looking forward to using this.

Absolutely love this wrap, I got it for baby number 3 and im annoyed I didn't get it for my other 2! Took a few tries to get comfortable with it but when I was able to sort the right tightness ect for myself it was 10/10 baby is now 5 months old and still loving it!Only downside is I find it SO long! This doesn't affect the use though 😊🩵

CONTEXT:My baby: 2 weeks old weighing about 6LBS 9 Ounces.Me: 5 ft 2. Petite build.I am so happy I bought this!! I spent so long on Amazon and other websites looking for a decent sling and reading all the reviews and just wanting to make sure the product was good and I could use it and would find it useful etc etc and therefore wouldn’t find myself in a position where I was disappointed I had to return the item.I was also unsure which slings were suitable for newborns so spent a while deciding.Needless to say, I am over the moon with this product!! It’s helped my “colic-ky” 2 week old baby to settle and helps me to potter around the house a bit. Also for short walks around where we live I don’t need to fumble with a bulky pram and can just wear this sling.Love:~ the neutral grey colour~ the stretch in the fabric~ the length of the fabric~ that it comes with a drawstring bag of the same material~ that it came with instructions which also points to their YouTube “FUNKI FLAMINGO BABY SLING” so you can watch videos on how to put the sling on safely.~ great price!Dislike:~ no dislikes. Be interested to see how much wear I can get out of it and whether it still remains the same quality after going in the washing machine.It’s a lot easier to put the sling on and the baby in than I thought so am very happy with this product and have a very settled baby as you can tell from the pics.Hope this review helps some of you. I’m really happy I bought this.Only thing I would advise is to ensure baby is fed and content & then sit on the couch when you put the baby in, at least for the first few times so you get used to it, just for extra security

The material quality is really good, and the length is ample - but this was just too much of a faff for us to use properly. Got one scuessful wear (albeit in the house) but ended up replacing with an alternate one with rucksack style straps instead

Ein echt gutes Tuch, und mein Baby liebt es auch!Wir mussten feststellen, dass unser Sohn keine Babytragen mag, deshalb habe ich mir verschiedene Tragetücher bestellt.In den Tüchern eingehüllt ganz nah an Mamas Brust schläft mein Kleiner immer schnell ein und ist gut gewärmt.Dieses Tuch ist von allen das schönste und am flexibelsten. Die Farbe gefällt mir gut und der Stoff ist schön weich. Durch die Elastizität schneidet auch bei meinem Jungen nichts ein.Außerdem ist eine Anleitung dabei und das Tuch lässt sich schnell anbringen.Klare Kaufempfehlung.

This carrier is the best. Being a first time mom so many products are recommended and I just didn't know what to choose. I'm so glad I went with this product after much research. I have been using this carrier for about three months now. The carrier was money friendly compared to others and the name is even catchy. I even taught my boyfriend to use this carrier and ever since then we've been using this thing non stop. Great for mommy and son bonding time. It has been a big help having a new baby and two small dogs that need their evening walks. My dogs are very demanding and pull alot on their leash, but with carrier I no longer have to worry about how I am going to juggle all three. This carrier is safe and secure and my son took to it right away. It is breathable although he still sweats in it, but he has always been a sweaty baby and it is hot in Texas. Its easy to wrap on as well as put my little on in and he even loves it. I've placed him in this carrier while doing small tasks around the house or even just have him close to me and this puts him to sleep every time. I also love that there are so many different ways to wrap the baby in this carrier although I've only tried two, but my boyfriend has let his creative mind go and has tried many wraps. The material is plentiful and long which is good thing because it gives enough to make sure I am wrapping my baby securely, but also a bad thing because trying to place the wrap on in public is a hassle with the ends sometimes hitting the floor and getting nasty. This makes being a mom so much easier and the fact that my boyfriend loves wearing our son in this carrier is an even bigger plus. I would definitely recommend this product because it is a must have mom essential and beats all of those other pricey carriers out there.

Ich habe mir das Tuch für meinen 12 Wochen kleinen Sohn gekauft. Da ich vom vielen tragen Probleme mit den Handgelenken bekommen habe. Anfangs war ich sehr skeptisch, weil das Tuch echt elastisch ist und er da mehr drin hängt wie sitzt. Aber mittlerweile liebe ich das Tuch. Ich kann ihn bei Bedarf längere Zeit tragen und habe beide Hände frei. Mein Sohn schläft darin stundenlang und zufrieden. Was ich mit dem Tuch nicht gerne mache, ist mich zu bücken. Da trau ich dem ganzen nicht. Der kleine fällt dann zu weit nach vorne. Kann aber auch nur mein Gefühl sein.Ansonsten war die Lieferung schnell und super. Das Tuch riecht nicht.Der Stoff ist elastisch.Das Tuch lässt sich leicht binden auch mit Kind.

Très bonne qualité, même après lavage. Facile d'utilisation. Je le recommande vivement. Ne pas mettre plus chère que cette écharpe.
