Pretty Little Liars #10: Ruthless
A**M
Just when you thought it was over...
I must admit when I found out that there's going to be 14 PLL books (not including the 2 companion books) I said "are you kidding me?" I know it feels like the series is dragging but honestly, it gets better and better. My mom purchased 9 & 10 for me and I breezed through them. I'm on "Stunning" (book 11) now and it's like I can't put it down. If you're getting frustrated, just give it a chance. If you've come this far, might as well read them all! :) Sara Sheperd keeps you hooked and I can only imagine what A has in store for the Liars in the next 3 books to follow.Bottomline: The series may seem like it's dragging on but the books do NOT disappoint. I will definitely recommend to PLL lovers/fanatics. :)

Ruthless is amazing.
This was a great continuation of the PLL series. I bought his book for my kindle fire and it worked great. I read it in 2 days. In my opinion, I think Sara Shepard is an amazing writer. The twists and turns were entertaining. As far as the characters, Spencer is striving for academic success as usual, Hanna meets a new boy during her fathers poltical campaign, Aria reunites with an old boyfriend, and Emily meets a new friend while getting in touch with her wild side. During this all the girls are forced to deal with a new A. I highly recommend this book if your a fan of he series.

Fun, if not a little repetitive
What I Liked: 1) Reading PLL is like reading a tabloid, for me. Like, you can't possibly imagine how all of these crazy things are happening, yet you can't stop reading. I love being able to indulge in something like that every once in a while. It is unapologetically unbelievable, and I love it for that. Like one of those horrible reality shows when you wonder, "are you like that in real life, or are you only acting that way because there is a camera on you?" 2) Once again, we were met with more questions than answers. That's something I like about the series, but there was something different about it in Ruthless than some of the others. In Ruthless, we were met with a definite answer about one of the issues. I thought at one point everything might be all over, but of course it can't be. It was almost as if there was a story within a story. And while the main story continues, the other one was over. 3) I liked the direction the plot is going, though there were a few times I questioned the motivations of the four girls. What I Didn't Like: 1) It almost felt like we were reliving parts of some of the other books. That was one thing that really just bothered me. I would be reading along and think, wait, didn't this already happen, just with another character? That disappointed me some, because I've always found Miz Shephard's storylines to be unique and creative. 2) Why does every book start with, "well, I don't really hang out with my old friends anymore..." How many times are they going to have a girl break-up, only to have A tie them back together. When will they figure out they are stronger as a group? *shakes fist at make believe characters*Overall thoughts: For fans of the Pretty Little Liars series, I think you'll be surprised to find some repetitive storylines, but pleased to find that Spencer, Aria, Hanna, and Emily are still up to their old habits. I like it best when the girls are working together to solve their issues, and I found that to be lacking in this book. Here's hoping that in the next book, our favorite little liars will bring their friendship back!

Book Series
My 17 year old daughter loves this book series. She collects every book by Sara Shepard that comes out. These books do contain some content that should not be read by people under the age of 12 as it deals with murder, mystery and relationships. The show on ABC Family does follow the books somewhat, but not exactly and some of the parts of the book that were more toward the above listed categories did not make the show as I feel they are not appropriate for all ABC viewers. Wonderful book collection for your older teenage daughters!

Ruthless
I gave this book a five for many reasons. Let's start with the freshness of it. Even though it is the tenth book in a series it has yet to drag the plot out. I'm never bored nor find myself simply skimming pages. There is always drama and suspense to keep you updated. The series fits many ages. From young tens to their moms, seriously my mom reads these, Pretty Little Liars has something for everyone in every book!

I expected more...
After reading Pretty Little Liars #9: Twisted , I couldnt wait to find out who A was and I was so excited that Sara decided to add on to her series! But when i read Pretty Little Liars #10: Ruthless my thirst wasnt quenched...instead, I got this wierd feeling in the pit of my stomache. I didnt want to know who A was. All the possible culprits were gone. It seems like they have been for awhile. If Ali is still alive and they find out its her, thats not thrilling...just old news. I guess i cant see where Sara is going with this series anymore... Am i missing something? Is there a vital piece of information that im not recieving? Ruthless is just another filler to her dragged out series. I demand more creativity! One more thing, whats with all the damaged relationships? All these girls do is get used and abused. There really isnt one stable relationship...its sickening.

Sara Shepard is amazing!
After reading every twist and turn in the PLL series, I began to worry about what Sara could have up her sleeve for a 10th book. However, she never siezes to amaze me. I turned page after page of Ruthless, unable to stop! The plot is great and keeps me asking for more the whole time!Only one month til pretty little secrets is a released, and I'm already anxiously waiting! Great job to Sara Shepard, she nailed it :)

Yet again intrigued by another book in this series.
Just like all the other books in this serious I never wanted to stop reading. This series is so mysterious. Shepard has a wonderful way of giving vague yet vivid details all at once. I love this series and will soon begin reading The Lying Game series. I bought the first 2 books months ago but I have yet to read them. If they are anything like the PLL books I'm sure I will love it.

it's a great tactic on Shepard's part because it keep us fans ...
So many secrets that came into play in Twisted (Book 9) are still being hinted at in this new book, without us getting all the answers. So while we find out some secrets, other times us as an audience are still in the dark... as infuriating as this is, because i'm so impatient and want to know everything now, it's a great tactic on Shepard's part because it keep us fans wanting more and then we rush to buy the next book. It's so mysterious and all we can do is guess what these secrets are by the slight hints that Shepard gives us.

Not at best of its condictions
In my opinion this book deserves five stars, but I choose to put only four in this review because of its condictions, that were non perfect, indeed.

As expected
Sara Shepard knows how to keep readers reading. More secrets are revealed, definitely a good addition to the series. I can't wait to get to the end and move on to the next book!

Spencer wird schon genauso wie Ali!!
Also langsam drehen wirklich alle am Rad.
