Great product but how do you change the code if you have lost the instructions

Very poor quality
This worked for a couple of days, my daughter told me it had stopped working, we changed the batteries thinking they were duds. New ones failed to work so I unscrewed the base to find the wires taped together. Disgraceful….now have a very disappointed 5 year old. Not impressed. Can’t send it back as it will not open and has money inside so am going to have to break it to get it out.
