As a daily coconut user, I'm always looking for quality at a reasonable price. This product has both. The coconut is fresh and tasty and the price is right. I use coconut--which is a true SuperFood--in smoothies, on fruit salads, and in making nut-seed milks. Found good recipes in the Amazon book, The GREAT Liquid Diet.

I primarily use this to make coconut milk. It works well.

I originally got this coconut for some cashew crunch I made at Christmas, but now I add it to lots of things. It's unsweetened, but still plenty sweet as an ingredient (you wouldn't want to snack on it straight out of the bag). It's great in carrot cake muffins, adding a little sweetness and moisture. This was my second order, it's not just for Christmas at my house!

Good shred for homemade granola. I like the finer shred because it toasts more evenly than the coarser shred.

I love coconut. And I love the way these are shredded finely. It allows me to top off my morning fruit bowl with "snow." A light coating of coconut flakes "snow." That's my image for the result. Like the weather, sometimes the snow is light, and sometimes not so light. Depending on my mood for the day. I also like the size of these bags. I used to buy little itty bitty 4 or 8 oz bags in the supermarket that were very expensive for what I was getting. With these, I get the enough that lasts me a while, but not so long that it loses its flavor. It's just right.

We ordered this because our usual brand was backordered. We made macaroons and they were fantastic! The coconut is very fresh and fine, perfect for yogurt or baking. It's very good and contains no sugar. Great!
