Like many, I try every new hair color out there.I like Esalon and her stint. But I tried this a few weeks ago and the color is really nice, no surprises, but my hair felt very nice afterwards

I used this on a person whose hair I have done for some time now. They were prematurely gray so dyeing was a way of life. Finding a good brown which does not pull red is not easy for this person.HOW THIS COMESThis is similar than most hair dye kits. It is easy to mix and apply.HOW I USEDI mixed this in a tray with a professional brush and applied that way instead of the bottle.PROCESSThis was a great dye. The smell was not overwhelming, and there was not any burning. The person whose hair I did liked that it did not seem to cause the hair to become dry and parched when using.HAIR USED ONThis was used on significantly gray hair with some dark brown hair mixed in about 50% of each or so.RESULTSThe results were a beautiful deep brown. At first it looked like this was going to pull some reddish tones, but it ended up being just a nice dark brown.HAIR CONDITIONThis did not leave the hair feeling stripped or dry when done. So far the color has stayed in fairly well.THE BOTTOM LINEThis seemed to be a nice basic dark brown hair dye. It did not pull severely red, and it dyed well on mostly gray hair.MY RATINGFIVE STARS. This was pretty decent hair dye, I will update if I have anything to add as time goes by regarding fading and hair condition.PHOTOI hope to get a photo up if I can. This hair dye is very thick. It took me some effort to get it ready for use. The coloring effect is great. All residue is washed away completely. Towel stayed clean after drying. I may consider trying out other colors too in the future.

I've been home-dying my hair since I was a teenager. Every color imaginable. My natural color is some sort of less-attractive brown and for the last 10+ years I dyed the back black and kept my bangs an alternative color (blue, red, pink, blonde, etc).I took a break from my hair color when I was pregnant with my first son. When I was recovering from my first pregnancy 5 years ago, my hair was coming out in an alarming amount - especially in the shower. I'm used to hair dye causing a little bit of hair to fall out but this was alarming. My hair is thin anyway so any loss is noticeable. It eventually recovered and I was able to resume dying my hair.I just gave birth to my second son in February. I haven't dyed my hair in over a year and the grays were making themselves right at home. I ordered a box of this based on their marketing claims of high quality, non-damaging ingredients that can repair hair.I have now dyed my hair twice with this brand of hair dye and it is the best hair dye I've ever used at home. No doubt. I haven't lost ANY hair. The color lasts. My hair feels silkier and softer than before dying it. I absolutely love this stuff. I have ordered a few more different colors, so I can still express myself - just with "normal" shades instead. I wish they found a way to put out a bleach that could improve the health of your hair while stripping it of all it's pigment. One Day....Anyway, I hope this review is helpful. Definitely give this brand a try.

I used this about two weeks ago, and the color is still as vibrant today as it was then. Permanent coverage, it's easy to apply and works as advertised. It includes a hair mask to use three weeks after dying.This did not damage my hair's condition, either-- my hair feels soft and healthy.This is not a quick dye-- I think I left it on for the maximum amount of time which, if I remember correctly, is 45 minutes.Recommended. I'd buy again.
