MunchRite Wasabi Peas, 3.5 Ounce (Pack of 12)

I was surprised to see the low ratings for this MunchRite product, but upon looking closer, I noticed that none of the reviews are for the dry roasted edamame. My husband and I love this edamame as a healthy snack. I used to buy the individual bags at Dollar Tree, but they no longer carry them, so I was glad to find them on Amazon. Edamame is actually soy beans. Those may not sound good, but they are, especially when they are dry roasted and lightly dusted with sea salt. They are a crunchy snack, full of protein and fiber. Per the bag label, a one-quarter cup serving contains 140 calories, 7 g fat, 14 g of protein and 6 g of fiber. (This is slightly different from what currently appears on this web page.) Would definitely recommend to someone looking for a healthy snack alternative.

Didn't really need 12 packages but bulk was the only option and I couldn't find these anywhere. I've enough to keep me satisfied for awhile! I'm not normally a spicy/hot eater but the Wasabi peas just have a quick "bite" to them and don't linger on. Different than "normal" spicy stuff. Nice for snacking....

Do not buy these peanuts! They are a product of CHINA! When I ordered these, I did not see anywhere that they were a product of China. I even checked again just now and did not see any mention. My husband has deadly allergies to tree nuts (peanuts are legumes) and on the can it says processed in a plant that processes tree nuts. I realize that is a disclaimer that has to be made, but who knows about processing plants in China. My husband could be dead in a matter of minutes if there are any tree nuts mixed in accidentally with these peanuts. And, to make matters even worse, I opened up one of the cans and tasted the peanuts and they are absolutely horrible! They tasted stale and bitter and I would be surprised if they were under 10 years old. Please, trust me on this.

I've had this product before from a friend, good stuff. Deciding to by a box of 12 to save money and make them last. So my COMPLAINT is they all expire (or best used by) in 3 MONTHS...I guess they just figured they give me the oldest not take in considerating i bought a box of 12..

No Taste, Not Crunchy or salty as other brands in Market. Not worth keeping at your bar. Poor Quality overall.
