Brooks Women's Ghost 13 Running Shoe

I am a nurse. Brooks shoes are all the rage at the hospital with the nurses and doctors. That should tell you something about the comfort level of Brooks right there. These are incredibly comfortable. They’re also gorgeous - I am not sure I want to wear them to work. Spendy- but worth every penny.

Did online research for a running shoe to address my issues—high arches, history of plantar fasciitis, lower back issues—and found the Ghost consistently recommended. So far so good! The sole is soft and forgiving, and I’ve felt good running in them.

I am 70 yrs old and my foot type requires a neutral shoe for my daily +2 mile walks. This Black/Hushed Violet Ghost 13 is the perfect color for me personally: I have been waiting for a black Brooks Ghost WITHOUT being totally stark black or black with stark white soles. The Hushed Violet is subtle, more like soft grey, true to the pictures posted. The Ghost 13 continues to have a comfortable toe box for my bunions. It will easily accommodate prescription orthodics. My orthopedist highly recommended the Brooks Ghost 10 yrs ago and I have worn them since...even more so, since I have had injuries wearing slip-on shoes when I should not have: have had a torn left anterior tibialis tendon and developed a torn meniscus in my right knee while recovering from that my foot injury! I am thankful Brooks Ghost started coming in more neutral colors since Ghost 11, since I wear them for most all occasions every day, all day now.

First time I ordered a shoe online. I had never heard of Brooks shoes. My previous brand was Saucony but they wear out too fast. These fit PERFECTLY. I jogged around my house the day I received them trying to find something wrong with them but they're perfect! Everyone has their own brand and I'm now sold on Brooks. I run 55-60 miles a week and need a sturdy, durable, comfortable shoe - Brooks is it for me.

I love this shoe. I loved the Ghost 12 but this one went the extra mile. They extended the cushioning to the forefoot. I don't run so my priorities are a little different.. I do HIIT and other cardio workouts that involve jumping and plyometrics. Since I have a wide short feet with high arches I tend to land hard on the forefoot. This shoe is like jumping on a foam mattress..soft and springy.

The ghost 12 are amazing these 13’s are spectacular with a little extra cushion all the way through the shoe! These do not disappoint!!! Shoe LOVE!

Great shoes. I’ve had the Ghost 11 previously and these don’t disappoint. They are comfortable and cushiony. I’ve had a few different styles of Brooks shoes in the past and prefer the Ghosts for their comfort. I walk several miles a day and love these shoes. Highly recommend. Also I might add the shipper was great. The shoes came earlier than expected. I ordered my regular size and they fit perfect.

While my husband loves his ghosts, I do not. The angle of the sole makes my feet feel like I am walking out of the shoe. They are very uncomfortable. I ordered these through Amazon fulfillment and there is absolutely NO WAY TO CONTACT THEM!!!So the seller gets back with me and says "I have never actually returned something to Amazon. I believe it is under Your Orders tab, and you should be able to reach them. They should extend the date for you and we will surely honor that. Thanks." THIS IS NOT HELPFUL AT ALL BECAUSE A BUYER CANNOT REACH AMAZON FULFILLMENT!!!! IT IS A NO MAN'S LAND!!!!!

I owned a pair of Ghost 10's, which were a joy to run in. The time came to replace them and I looked at other shoes to replace them with but was still drawn to buying another pair of Ghosts albeit the Ghost 13. I had to wait ages as my size was out of stock. Bought a pair of Saucony's to keep my runs ticking over. Was not entirely happy with the Saucony's but eventually a pair of Ghost 13's were available to buy so I happily purchased a pair. Was not enamoured with the colour but I could live with that! Took them straight out of the box and went for a run. Probably ten minutes into my usual route my right inside ankle started to hurt. I thought carry on the pain might go away as my foot was probably adjusting to the new fit (I so wanted to love these shoes). Twenty minutes into my run the pain was not subsiding but getting worse. Decided to make a short cut and head home. Changed into my spare running shoes and headed back out to finish my run. Pain completely gone! Brooks Ghost 13 returned!

These brooks ghost shoes are not fit for purpose . After 230 miles the shoes have started to wear inside and holes are appearing.I have just found out as well that brooks trainers are not allowed to be sold on amazon so I am not covered by the warranty. Do not buy off Amazon

Wie erwartet ein super Schuh.Ich bin vorher den Ghost 11 gelaufen und war etwas traurig, dass es den Schuh nicht mehr gibt.Aber dieser hier ist genauso gut und hat vom ersten Kilometer genau das gemacht was er soll.Nicht drücken, kneifen oder sonstiges.Er trägt ein über Straße, Waldboden und Schotter überall sehr gut.Von mir eine klare Kaufentscheidung und 6 Sterne 🤩Noch ein Hinweis, ich trage in meinen normalen Schuhen Größe 37, zum Laufen 🏃‍♀️ trage ich bei den Brooks 38,5.

I have had these shoes less than four months and run approximately 20 miles a week. Both shoes have split and I will now have to pay to replace as you can only return within a three month window with Amazon- I would expect shoes from this manufacturer costing this much to last twice this time. I will not purchase through Amazon a second time.

The Ghost 13 is amazing. Even better cushioning, still offering the wide fit and super, comfortable. I feel like I'm running on air. I run on pavements & some grass- city running, park running, so I confirm these are great for that type of run. i've had no ankle, knee or shin splint issues since running in Brooks Ghost shoes although I had in the past so i highly recommend these.This is my 3rd pair of Brooks Ghost, I was introduced to Ghost 7 when I went looking for good running shoes so I could get back into running after many years absence. They were so comfortable and offer a wide fit which I selected as it made my foot feel like it was in a very natural position. I had them for a few years as my running was still infrequent but then in 2020 due to lockdown I got a new pair and took up regular running. I noticed an immediate difference in the cushioning when I bought the Ghost 12 - I think they'd improved plus I'd held on to the 7 for too long! I ran over 1000 kms in those which s more than recommended but demand made it very hard to get another pair but the cushioning was still good and the comfort was too - it was the tread that indicated I should update. So in closing, these are great quality and last very well.
