If you are looking for new bowls, these are the ones to get. I have five kids and they have a tendency to accidentally break bowls and dishes. I was looking on Amazon for new bowls and these caught my eye. I ordered these, and let me tell you, they do not disappoint! The bowls have a seamless look, crafted into perfection. They are a beautiful pearly white and I absolutely love the amazing design of the bowls. They aren't too big and not too small to be our rice bowls. They are a nice light weight product and even better, they are crafted to resist chipping, scratches, and breaking, which is what every mother wants to hear when buying a new set of bowls or dishes. The bowls stack just great, making sure you can fit them in your kitchen cupboards. Because of the perfect 22 ounce size bowls, you can use them for almost anything. Soup, snacks, cereal, salads, noodles, the possibilities are endless. This is an incredible product and I do not regret my decision one bit. I rate these bowls five stars and highly recommend buying this product if you are looking for some high quality bowls.

Perfect as pet food bowl.

These are great bowls. We use these bowls for everything. We have microwaved spaghetti in them multiple times and they have never stained. I did manage to chip one though. Granite countertops are brutal. 😢

Packaging was the best I've ever seen: Heavy box with extra panels of corrugated cardboard, heavy sheets of closed-cell foam and individual foam sleeves for each piece. You could tumble that box in a cement mixer and nothing would break! So I was surprised that these 20ounce bowls had imperfections. The glaze has thick swirls inside some. One had a few particles in the glaze and one was over-cleaned in greenware and has a low spot on the edge. For under $4 each I am probably expecting too much. (A pricey, popular name-brand set I just got also had a few particles and swirls.) They are free from heavy metals and they do look like they were fired hot.(very shiny glaze with no dull spots) A flashlight does shine light through. They have a nice ring when tapped. You need a pot holder for hot food because they transfer heat quickly, but that is the nature of porcelain. I would choose these over heavy, fragile ceramic or ironstone any day. They are simple and elegant and they fit my hand perfectly.

I bought these to "get by" until I could decide on new dishes. Most of our bowls from our old set broke over the years, so these were a fill-in. I'm now considering looking at what else Dowan offers. I bought these on October 7 of 2023, and the pics were taken today, July 14, 2024. No chips, no scratches. The only difference from when I bought them until now is the "Dowan" name that was stamped in green on the bottom of the bowls washed off within the first two washes.

Light weight but well balanced. A nice size for cereal, deserts, soups, etc. I used at a luncheon and served soup. I used an Asian style soup spoon because they are shorter (compared to my standard soup spoons) and it was perfect!

Size is perfect for individual small soup servings.

I purchased these to serve Pho in. Great for that but also useful for miscellaneous duties because of the shape/size/depth. The one I use the most shows no sign of wear. Great product.

The set of 6 30-oz Dowan bowls arrived a day earlier than initially scheduled, and in good shape, packed individually in a kind of styrofoam netting. They're just as pictured in the web page, and seem quite sturdy. Can't rate durability yet, as we've only used them 3 times so far. Recommended.

Just what I've been looking for! Excellent quality, stylish, large deep bowls ideal for soups and/or OMAD/buddha bowl meals

Initially I was concerned about buying online only because of possible damage in transit, thankfully the packaging was good and the guys assumingly haven't thrown the box in to the van! (I've seen many boxes being thrown into a van!) Great size, very deep, perfect for serving breakfast, soup, stews, casseroles, desserts. Not bothered they don't stack uniformly, they are stacked nicely in our cupboard with no issues. Bought with ceramic soup spoons so will be making loads of Chinese soup.
