Avega Recreation Organic Ceremonial Grade Matcha Green Tea Powder - Authentic Japanese Origin - First Harvest Premium Teahouse Edition [1.07 Ounce]

So far I've tried a wide variety of Matcha green teas from my local boutique tea shops to Starbucks (terrible quality) to a couple online ordered products and so far this matcha green tea is the best one I've had from a taste, quality, and lasting feeling standpoint. I'm the type of person that drinks 4-5 cups of coffee a day to have energy at work and I drink usually 2 espressos in the morning just to wake up.... one cup full of this product and I don't even need a swig of coffee until 3 PM in the afternoon. This stuff is really powerful and you actually really do feel the L-Theanine working and that 'positive' feeling in your brain as you chug away at work. I actually feel more motivated and want to get work done the way it should be done; perfection... there's no crash either when you drink this tea like there is with coffee. It really is a very smooth profile - can't say enough positive things about it. Also, the taste is fine without any sugar or milk if you've had non-ceremonial grade teas - this really tastes 'pure' and good in a fresh way.

I absolutely LOVE AVEGA's Ceremonial Matcha Green Tea. The flavor is lush, flavorful, not at all bitter as many of the Matcha Green Teas I've had. The color is a bright, verdant green, demonstrating the high quality of the tea. I have been drinking Matcha Green Tea for 15+ years as it is one of the BEST things that I can do for my immune system. I've tried many Ceremonial Grades of tea (in my opinion, the only quality worth the money for the support of your health), and purchased this because the one I had been drinking was back ordered due to the COVID-19 outbreak. I am a person who does their research & reads at least 20 reviews before purchasing anything on line. SO GLAD I found this product. I immediately ordered 2 more little can of this after my 2nd cup of tea. I will only drink this particular Matcha Green Tea now...I hope they have plenty to sell! Worth giving it a try!!

I did not know about this product before except when my friend suggest me to try it. We love green tea a lot, I usually drink milk tea or green tea latte. My friend want to eat cake with green tea or drink milk tea as me. We have try different brand of green tea powder. But they will have low quality with cheap price or so expensive. When my friend suggests me this product to try, I think this is for me. The price is value for the product. Also, it made from Japan, so I really trust this product 30%, and when I try it, I think I fall in love with it. This green tea matcha powder is value to buy. The taste is not sweet but it does not lose the smell of green tea. The powder is bitter, but bitter of the green tea. The powder is smooth and small. I try to do the green tea latte at Starbuck and it is same as the store. But the powder is more strong so I need to add more sugar. It is perfect for me. Also, I always bake cake as matcha crepe, it is delicious. My knowledge about green tea is helpful drink and health drink.

I think the product is nice quality and taste is good.

I am not a tea drinker at all but bought this for its nutritional benefits. Very good! Can even drink it without honey or lemon-that’s big for me! Lol. The only complaint I have is that the bag within the container is hard to get the tea out of without it spilling all over. I’m not sure if you are supposed empty the tea out of the bag and into the tin (I haven’t because I thought keeping in bag keeps if fresher) Or not but it’s quite small the design of the way makes it hard to get out without spilling. Excuse this complaint if it’s not meant to stay in the bag within the tin. If anyone can give feedback about how to properly store and/or avoid spilling and wasting the tea, that’d be great! Soon I’ll just pour it in the tin. Too pricey to spill.

For the price, quality and quantity, this is great matcha powder. I've been a matcha drinker for 15 years (had my first when I visited Japan), and this is the matcha powder I was looking for. Take note that it's usually better to sift it that rely on its blending power so it doesn't clump.

I've tried a fair amount of matcha and have been drinking green tea for 26 years or so. I am not claiming to be an expert but I won't buy this again.It doesn't taste that good. I normally just drink matcha straight. It says it's a premium grade matcha which according to some sources is inbetween culinary and ceremonial grade. To me it doesn't taste much different than the culinary grades I've had.I was on the fence about buying this. I also bought a ceremonial grade which cost about 24$ an ounce.But that's what often happens when you go cheaper. At least to me.If you don't plan on drinking it straight or you have no experience with matcha then it might be fine. I lived in Japan for almost 2 years and you can definitely get better matcha for a similar price point. I had some cheap brownish matcha at the dollar store that was culinary grade that sucked and then the one I normally bought was maybe like $5 or 6 for an ounce and that was better than this one. More vibrant green, yet still not ceremonial grade. That was in Japan.Anyways if you like matcha straight just get the more expensive stuff. This looks like a good deal, but it's not much better than the cheap culinary stuff. That's my 2 cents.I also wouldn't make a big fuss about "organic" either. I mean it sounds better, but it doesn't mean it will taste better.

I have been looking for a good organic matcha green tea powder for a long time . I had different brands and I didn’t like them much as this Japanese green tea , first of all I like the smooth taste, it gives me energy that I need for the whole day. And ceremonial matcha powder has bright green color compare to other matcha teas I had . You can see on the photo I attached the difference between these two teas.And I really enjoy the smell of this tea. I love to make matcha latte.I am glad I found tea I can enjoy every morning and during the day .
