The power adapter is great so you don't have to use all of those batteries. Opens and closes quick and it is easy to get the 13 gallon trash bags out of the can. The retainer ring holds the trash bags in place so they don't fall into the can.

Pros:I have used this trash can as the home primary for about 2 and a half years now. It has survived moves, being knocked over, all sorts of gross things and it still looks great. It has held up over time and always worked.Cons:If you push the trash down too often, the metal can does warp and the top stops fitting as securely. This took approximately 2+ years to happen though. The clasp holding the battery compartment broke at one point and since the batteries are so heavy, it falls through if I don't tape it but I only have had to change the batteries twice in 2 and a half years.Unfortunately the motor gave out this week on the lid. Fortunately, I love this trash can enough that I ordered another. I think for how useful it is and how fantastically it has held up, it is definitely worth the cost. Two and a half years of 10-20x daily use is more than fair in my opinion.

Only had it a week, but it works great. I got it on wheels because it has to sit by my dishwasher and I have to move it to load the dishwasher. Easy to change the bags and doesn't take up much space. Didn't get the charger because I knew I'd be moving it quite a bit and would have a cord length issue so we'll see how long the batteries last.

Good quality. Downfall is it won't work in an enclosed area. Like a trash cabinet. Won't stay closed. I bought a cabinet to go with it that tilts forward but it won't close. Don't know what to do.

I've had for a while and it does the job. Be sure to get the power adapter. Batteries are expensive these days.

Lid Closed prematurely and cracked, seemingly no problem, inquired about a replacement lid, just the black plastic flap, its a year or two out of warranty, so the only solution is to buy an entire new, top, what a waste of plastic an electronics, had a long dialogue with customer service who would not budge, they offered 15% off an entire new lid, clearly weren’t listening I just need that flap. We do not need to send so much plastic and electronics to a land fill.Very disappointed such a wasteful policy, I even offered to extract the lid from one of their returns headed to the recycling bin, and that was refused.Last option to save plastic I asked for a 3D Model to print a new replacement and was refused.So great product when its new, but if you need help, they will go for your wallet and the environment first.
