I have used bath poufs for many years, but using a pair of these gloves made washing up so much quicker. They are moderately abrasive (only slightly more textured than a bath pouf) They suds up nicely and because you can use the back and front of your hands, it's easy to scrub your back. The gloves are very stretchy, so they fit nicely on my larger hands. I have seen these gloves sold in singles, but I recommend buying them in a pair for fast, easy use.
