Love them! Smooth Writing; Need Stronger Pocket Clips
Been using these pens for over a decade. Love them. The only trouble I have with them is the ink is quite wet (gel, I guess), so being a lefty I have to be careful not to drag my hand across recent writing. These are the 0.7mm which I'm used to; FYI I bought some of the BOLD 1mm versions, but I almost could not tell the difference during use; it was marginal, so in the future I'll stick with these FINE ones. Best pens I know of, for the price. If I had a wish, it would be that the pen cases were more durable, so I could just buy refills for the rest of my life; in reality the pocket clips snap off over time and look really ugly after that.

0.7mm Writes Like 0.5mm
Let me just say right off that I'm extremely picky about my writing instruments. I've been like this since I was a young child; however, I'm not sure what that really means, if anything. In any event, I bought this 5-pack of the 0.7mm black ink G2 retractable pens as my "go-to" for general writing, when my signature is required, and check writing with a carbon copy. Although nowadays, I may only write a check every couple of years or so, if that. I've been using G2 retractable gel pens for many years and highly recommend them for the following reasons:1. Ink flow is consistent and reliable.2. Ink is quick drying (but will smear if you immediately put it to a firm test after writing). I'm right-handed, but my daughter is left-handed and also loves using these pens.3. Retractable nib for convenient carrying in my purse or between meetings.4. Sturdy pen clip (reinforced plastic) for attaching to notebook or clothing for portability.5. Ink smoothly flows from pen with no "scratchiness" (0.7 mm, not true of 0.5 mm in my opinion).6. 0.7 mm nib puts ink to paper like the line of most other 0.5mm gel pens. If you typically prefer a finer line and smooth flowing ink, you'll probably want to buy the 0.7 mm in this G2 pen.My writing is medium in size, for the most part. If I want to write really small, like in my Bible, I can do that with these 0.7 mm pens with no "globbing" of the ink. Speaking of writing in a Bible, this gel ink doesn't bleed through thin Bible pages, but it does ghost. If ghosting bothers you, you might not want to use any gel pen in your Bible. However, even a ballpoint will ghost if you tend to press a little hard when writing.Overall, I continue to pleased with the Pilot G2 retractable pens with 0.7 pen nib. The 0.5...not so much.

You might pay full price for used pens.
I like these pens, I was excited for these pens. I paid full price for new pens, because I enjoy these pens.... the package I got was not just open, it was cut with scissors, the top and side of the package was straight up gone, and it was taped shut with packing tape. The pens also have varying ink levels, so it’s clear at least some of these were used before being sent back.I’m not into it.

My Pen Obsession
First off, I am very picky with pens. They have to feel perfect in my hand, they can’t make that scratching noise when writing, the ink has to flow perfectly, it has to be fine point, and it CAN’T be gel (I hate gel pens)! About a year ago, my favorite pen ran out of ink and I entered into pen hell....because my favorite pen was no longer being sold. That began my quest for a new favorite pen. I can’t even begin to tell you how many brands I went through, because I honestly don’t know. I would get a new one and it didn’t work for me so i would give it away. It was a vicious cycle lol. I had never tried the G2 pens because they’re gel, and as stated above, I hate gel pens. Finally, I had 2 different friends recommend them to me, both promising that they would be unlike any gel pen I’ve ever used. I’m glad I listened, because they were right! These pens met every criteria I had for a pen! I really think I like them much better than my old favorite! Normally, I only use black ink pens, because I don’t like blue. When i ordered the G2, I thought, what the heck, since I’m going against everything I believe a pen should be (not gel), I’ll order something other than black....so I ordered navy blue. I absolutely LOVE it! I’m telling you, if they ever quit making the navy blue G2 pens, I will be completely devastated. Yes, I’m obsessed with pens!

Not happy
I'm glad that it seems most other people are pleased with these pens, but I am not happy. I think the package I received must be really old, because many of them are dried out to the point that writing with them is not smooth at all, it's actually quite difficult to get them to write consistently. I bought these to replace the Papermate Ink Joy Gel pens that I have been using and loving. I was hoping like some other reviewers I would like the G2 even better, but I think I may end up switching back. I also plan to contact Amazon directly to let them know I may have gotten a bad batch.

Note: there are just 15 different colors in the pack of 20 assorted color inks!
These are great pens. But, I didn't look closely enough at the photo that showed all the different colors of ink included in the 20-pack before ordering. This pack comes with 5 pens with black ink, and 2 with standard blue ink. The pens of the same color are not lined up next to each other in the photo, so I missed the duplication. (I assume there are extra pens of these two colors, because they are used more often in writing.) If for some reason you need 20 different ink colors, you will be disappointed. I rearranged them in my photo posted here to show what I mean.

Good quality
Good quality pens and they arrived on time but not showing on my orders that they were delivered, so bit annoyed about that.

Great quality
I bought a 3pack black color pen set for Rs.300. This is a good quality pen. Writing is a little rough since it is fine point. And the pen writes thin. Because of these factors, you may need to put slightly more pressure than normal while writing if you want thick writing. However, the overall writing experience is excellent once you get used to it. Ink flow is very good, and the ink is fast dry, so no smudges whatsoever. The ink does show up on the back page (bleeding) though if you write on a page, so be careful if you want to write on both sides of a sheet. This would be particularly problematic on low GSM papers. However if you use >65 GSM paper you will be fine. One lower GSM paper, be content with writing on just one side of the page.
