These are costume shoes. If you will wear them a few times a year, largely indoors, for a specific purpose, then these are for you. They're pretty, they're amazingly comfortable, and they rounded out my costume perfectly.I regret nothing. But I miss them now that they're gone. If they were 15 bucks I'd buy a new pair every year. Unfortunately, 40 bucks is a pretty steep price for something that only really holds up for about 24 hours of wear.If you distribute the time you could get many parties or events from these boots. With daily use... they'll wear out faster.The comfort of these shoes might make you think about wearing them every day. If you choose to wear them every day keep in mind that you've got a finite number of uses in these shoes. The toes started peeling the second time I wore them (around hour 24). The sole began to separate after only three wearings. To be clear, by the end of the third time I'd worn these they had been on the clock for 36 hours.

These lovely, Victorian-style boots are exactly what I was not just looking for, but hoping for! I need wide width shoe where, which is incredibly difficult to find when looking for period-wear and costuming. And what's even more difficult, is to find something appropriate and comfortable, which these charming boots are! I am delighted!

I have hard to fit feet and had despaired of finding a cute shoe/boot to wear with a Steampunk costume - this fit AND was comfortable. So comfortable that I bought a 2nd pair in black. I did buy a slightly larger size so I could wear a thick sock with it but this fit perfectly with a pair of trouser socks - exactly what I wanted!

These boots are awesome! They are study, comfortable, and so cute! They go great with jeans especially. I ordered a 8.5W and they are ACTUALLY wide, unlike so many other pairs of shoes I've tried in the past - they fit my fat feet wonderfully and are very comfy!

I wear arch supports so I don't know how they are for a normal person. I also wear a brace on my right foot and these boots make it so easy to put on because of the side zipper and also front laces. I wear them almost all the time and am so glad I found them.

Decent quality. Comfortable for short periods. Bought my usual size (8.5 wide) and they fit, although they are snug, so if that is a concern you might go up a half size.

Fits great and comfortable even first day wearing them all day at a festival!
