I was surprised at how good of quality they were, much better than the leading brand imo. They close better and wash up great!

I have many reusable bags in my house. I haven't used silicone bags in quite a few years. They have come a long way from when I tried my first silicon reusable bags.What this is:1 gallon meal bag2- 15 ounce sandwich bags2 - 32 ounce classic bags2- snack bagsAll bags are PVC free, Phthalates free, and are 100% platinum silicone. They are BPA free. They are dishwasher safe, freezer free, microwave safe, and boil safe. They are mostly leak proof.To try them out:I have been using these throughout the week.What I like:They are zipper tops. They zip up easily. They come apart easily. I have tried other silicone bags that use a piece of plastic that you roll over the top of the bag. The zipper method is much more practical and works very well.The bigger bags have a flatter bottom. This makes filling easier.These are very durable bags. It is a heavy silicone. It is flexible.The slight cons:They are mostly leakproof but not completely. I set one aside with water and drops come out. I would definitely put these on a plate if laying flat in the fridge.The opening is slightly smaller than the bag itself. I found it slightly difficult to put foods in because it doesn't stay open on its own.5 stars- even with the slight cons, I LOVE these bags. I love the colors. I love the durability of them.Past experience with other silicone bags:In having silicone bags, I have learned a few things. They are dishwasher safe. My PAST experience is that if using scented dishwasher tabs, the bags can start smelling like them. The foods can have a slight flavor of whatever your dishwasher tabs are. I wash all my reusable bags by hand. I fill them with soapy water and cleanse. I flip them inside out and clean and dry.These are freezer safe. Again, my PAST experience with silicone bags, I find that silicone bags can start getting a freezer burn smell to them if in the freezer too long. I only use reusable bags in the freezer for short periods of time. They are too expensive to have a freezer smell to them.

I would like start saying that ,this set is impressively well made . They are quite thick as you can see it in the pictures . When Iwas looking to pick up my delivery boxes ,knowing that the package got delivered , I was looking for a small box ( I live in a multi apartment complex where so many boxes delivered everyday ). After a while I started to find my name and there was a huge box ,I didn’t know what was it . There it was , the silicone bags , In this big box ? To my surprise ( in a good way ) , there was the set of silicone bags , but they are big , I mean BIG !Well insulated , leak proof . Very easy to use and convenient . I store food in them in the freezer , no problem . Soup and tomato sauce , no problem . I didn’t use it for sous vide yet, but I’m sure it would work fantastically. I don’t know how you store your food items in your pantry , where you can use this product for that purpose , that is airtight . I prefer glass jars with bamboo lids . So it is not what I am using for . My issue is they are super thick and big ,and I don’t have much space to put them away . it still is not a “ BIG “ issue .I am super impressed with the quality and use of it , I can deal with the space issue . It is an absolute winner for what I need . Will highly recommend this product !

This is unlike any product I have seen on the market. I currently have 2 silicone-type gallon size bags that I really like and I wanted more (and different sizes). I much prefer the reusable variety for environmental reasons, but I am hoping that the details in this review will make you aware of other benefits as well. This set consists of 7 bags - 1 gallon size, 2 sandwich bag size, 2 quart size (slightly bigger than the sandwich size) and then two smaller snack size. The silicone is *heavy duty*… and I mean very much so! They are quite thick… one side of each bag is clear and the other side is opaque (although you can still pretty much tell what is inside even thru the opaque side). They have two features which make usability SO MUCH better - one is that each bag can lay on its side OR stand on end, which gives you more storage options. The second thing is that the seal is very easy to both close and open - easier than regular ziplock type bags and MUCH easier than the silicone bags I already had. One of the features about these bags that surprised me and made me like them so much is that the fact that they are so heavy duty it actually makes them very easy to clean. Before I got the silicone bags I tried to reuse the ziplock type as often as I could, but rinsing and drying them was always a pain in the rear end. These are as easy as washing a bowl… very convenient which makes you actually want to use them even more. These bags are microwave safe, dishwasher safe, freezer safe and according to the instructions can even withstand oven temps (Personally I am not willing to give that a try!). My use will primarily be for freezer and refrigerator storage, although I can also envision using one or two for cupboard storage. They would also make excellent travel containers because of their durability. The quality of these bags is truly exceptional and should pretty much last a lifetime…I can’t really see anything being able to damage them. Overall I am extremely impressed by both the quality of the bags, as well as the ease of functional use. I hope this is helpful info to you!
