This is a very gentle cleaner. No residue left behind.

Almost......squeaky.As in "squeaky clean".First, let's talk lather because, I like my facial, actually *all* of my cleansing products to provide lather.I dispensed about a 2 inch long squeeze of this into my palm.That was enough for my medium sized mans face and neck.The dispense hole is on the smaller side of medium.I vigorously rubbed my palms together and viola; lather.If 10 is the most lather you've ever seen this provided me with about a 4 - 4.5 of lather; maybe, possibly, a 5.I applied it to my face in a circular motion and the lather continued.The scent of this is fresh; that's the best I can do describing it.To me, it is light, pleasing and gender neutral.The intensity of scent as about a 2 - 2.5 on a 10 scale.I've been using this in the shower after my lap swim workout in a public heavily chlorinated pool, when you really want a deeper clean (get all that chlorine off of you).As I said in the headline, my skin felt *almost* squeaky clean, but not stripped or harshly cleansed.I like this one; it's gonna stay in my shower toiletries bag for the gym.Nice product, glad I ordered it.Considering some of the products I've reviewed and some of the outrageous prices, I've seen, I'm giving this an overall 5 star rating.That fifth star is reserved for "value"; I consider this a good value.I hope this review has enabled you to make an informed purchase decision.I rarely give an overall 5 star rating.

Priced very good too for the quality.

This feels and lathers up more like a paste rather than a foam, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. The added baking soda makes your skin lightly tingle as you lather it on and it washes off nice and easily, all while giving your skin and pores a nice cleaning. If you're looking for a general cleanser, this one is worth a shot.

My husband has large pores on his skin, and after using it for a week, there's no improvement besides washing off the oil on his skin.

This cleanser has helped my skin immensely, it is gentle enough that is doesn't have my face producing oil just to counteract any dryness. Really soft while still exfoliating gently.
