Toddler is 2 and half and finds it easy to open/use. So far no spills, but haven't really put anything too liquid in there - has not popped open though. Tried a few lunch boxes out and it fits well in what I would say, is a standard rectangular lunch bag. Smaller compartment is a bit tricky to clean, but overall has held up well. Would consider buying other styles from the brand.

These are super cute and perfect for my four year old to open and close. I didn’t realize that you can’t put in the dishwasher when I bought them. Not a big deal as you can’t hand wash. I rolled the dice and tried to put through the dishwasher and was shocked at the results (the rainbow is now crazy faded) although I was fully warned. These are great but again hand wash only.

Bought two of these (strawberry and cupcake) and they are perfect for early school age children. Both kids loved them! I put them inside a lunch bag so I can insert a cooler pack if needed.

While the design is very cute, good portion size, the latches are flimsy. My 5 year old took it to school 2 times and the 1 of the side latches fell off.

Lid is very flimsy. Upon opening lid, tab fell off. Not very sturdy for 17+ bucks. Returning!

We've purchased 2, the rainbow one we are really happy with and it is still going strong and we've had it for just under a year, so we purchased a different one but the latch on the strawberry one broke off after having it about a month and using it maybe 4 times so we are pretty bummed about this one 😕. Hit or miss I guess.

Received the Bento-Style Strawberry Lunch box as estimated. Love it! It will fit in my Strawberry collection, great.
