Customize Bed 10 Inch Gel Memory Foam Mattress with Bamboo Cover, King - CertiPUR-US Certified

I order a custom-size mattress for a cot I built for my RV. With arthritic hips, a recent camping trip yielded sleepless nights and stiffness/pain in the mornings. Ready to sell the RV, I thought I'd try one more thing--a better mattress. So, taking a chance, I contacted Customize Bed Inc. who immediately responded. Immediately, not days later. "YES, the could make any size I wanted, and YES I could have 6" very firm, with 2" very soft topping." I placed the order on a Friday and they shipped on Monday!!! I was kinda shocked. Well, REALLY shocked. I started thinking they were just shipping standard stock. I looked forward to its arrival with trepidation that I'd have to try to figure out how to return it .... yada yada yada. Welp, it arrived on Wednesday, fit my custom space PERFECTLY, is very well made, not a piece of foam--this is an actual mattress!!! So, off I went camping! Well, it was rainy, incredibly windy and COLD. I slept like a baby. No pain. NO PAIN! Woohoooo!The product is quality and the customer service par none!!! ~k

This was a size that I needed for my camper and it fits perfectly. However I sleep on a memory foam mattress at home and know what memory foam feels like. The material in this one is not memory foam. It feels like cheap cushion foam. I will keep it because I only use it occasionally, but when shopping on the internet there needs to be an implied trust that you will get what you pay for.

I purchased the 74" x 30" by 8" mattress for a camper, and it is great! It fits nicely into the space which has walls on three sides and part of a closet on the fourth side. This space is 76" x 32", so this allows room to tuck the bedding in. It sits on a platform, so there's no box spring, and this mattress is still very comfortable! It is fairly firm, but it unrolled very easily and perfectly from the packaging. It has so odor to speak of. Very nice!

Reviews helped me to choose this mattress/company. Custom fitted/sized mattress of Med. firm density is perfect for our needs, not too firm, with a bit of give. Intending to add a plush mattress protector, to pamper my grandchild.I'm not disappointed in any way. The seams are nice and tight, the cover has a smooth texture, and is attractive. After removing the heavy weight packaging plastic... the mattress expanded completely within 24 hrs, filling out perfectly. We were very impressed with the quality of this mattress, so glad it's made in the USA! If you are looking to customize, as I did, do not hesitate to deal with this company! They are very accommodating, and aim to please.

We got the 8”. It rests on a wood plank frame and it’s perfect. I just replaced a $1300 mattress with this and now I’m sleeping like a baby. The mattress is rolled and not folded when it arrives, so you don’t have weird creases or anything like that. It unraveled and expanded as soon as I cut the plastic and we were able to sleep on it the day we got it. I’m using this as my everyday mattress and I have zero complaints.

Please note that these are not a “gel foam“ mattress as listed in the title. I have two gel foam mattresses and these feel nothing like a gel foam mattress. These mattresses feel much more like a thick piece of soft foam. They aren’t very firm either so they would be best for a small and light person (ie child)...an adult of average weight (140-180lbs) sinks into them pretty good. I’ve chosen to keep the mattress because they are for two toddlers and the perfect size for their beds.Customer service was just ok. I ordered two same size mattresses. When they arrived I got one correct size and one wrong size. I requested a return due to the error and didn’t get any sort of “sorry for the error” message until I followed up asking about when I could expect my refund and if they would expedite shipping due to their error. They were polite but didn’t offer any make good (expedited shipping) for the error. Again, nothing wrong with customer service I just wouldn’t say it’s outstanding.

Ordered two of the cot / bunk size (33") mattresses for our 1988 Jamboree motorhome. We received one and it fit perfectly! I like a really firm mattress, but I would rate this a 3.5/5 in the firmness department. More of a medium firm. I read a lot of scary online reviews about foam mattresses arriving dirty or with critters but I was very happy this mattress was very nice and clean. It smelled like new foam but I didn't feel that it stunk or that the smell was bad at all either. I was surprised that it was not vacuum sealed but rather tightly rolled. It was really nice for the price but unfortunately we only received one and the other one never arrived before selling the RV. Customer service was excellent and contacted me back within two business days and issued a refund. If I end up needing anymore mattresses I'd definitely consider purchasing more of these.

Love this mattress. Bought it for my husbands bad back and shoulders. He said it sleeps GREAT! I used it as a replacement on a craftmatic bed. Wonderful I will order another as soon as they are available for my side. Please note that this mattress had no odor upon opening it. And it was fully expanded in 24 hours. Carrying it into the house was breeze and I am no spring chicken, short and petite.
