Not briefs
These will do, but they are not briefs. Briefs go to the natural waistline, and these are well below that. They are not so low that I can't wear them but they feel funny. They are also just slightly cheeky. For reference, a person's waist is the smallest place along the trunk. Put a piece of elastic around your body. Bend back and forth until it settles into the smallest part. THAT is the waist. There is no other, no matter what people think. It is ridiculous that this needs to be explained to anyone, it is so obvious. Briefs go to the natural waist.I am average height and of normal proportions (I am not long-waisted or short-waisted). I fall right into the overlap between the large and small sizes, so I bought the small. It is slightly snug, but otherwise okay. If you are much smaller than about a size 12 you may find these too large for you. It depends on how you are built. The material itself is great, and stretches nicely. The legholes are not finished. If I had bought the large size, I suspect it would have been much too big for me.I bought these to use on a trip. I do not plan to use liners in them. If I did, they might be just a little more snug than I would like, depending on the thickness of the liner.

Nice
Nice and comfortable but pretty much just panties not Absorb. Not like an actual pull up or pad or adult diaper. You’ll have to wear a pad. I wanted some disposable Absorbent pull up. I just had a c-section. So, I needed something to cover all areas as a pad underneath my real underwear. Also it was important that it wouldn’t irritate my incision. It doesn’t touch or irritate my incision. They are a nice stretchable material. Might need to order a size up if you are a larger person.

A postpartum must
I didn't know what I was missing the first time I gave birth. I got these after having my second c-section and they are awesome. In the time of feeling like day-old road kill, when you're afraid of anything touching your stomach and bleed (and pee) on and off without warning, these are a must. They are stretchy and comfortable; they don't feel like you're wearing plastic. They have enough structure that they feel supportive for that holy-crap-my-insides-are-jello feeling of just giving birth. I felt disgusting on a pretty constant basis, but being able to change into some not-hideous clean undies made things better. Also you can rip them off with your bare hands if you need to escape quickly. It happens.

Wonderful for travel!
These are so great for traveling. I used these on a 2-week trip mission trip. I often moved from place to place every day or so, so I did not have time to wait for clothes to dry. I was so happy to have them. The are soft and comfortable and provide good coverage. If I used a panty liner and did not sweat very much, I could sometimes get two days wear out of them. I really enjoyed the confidence and freedom of knowing that I could always have a fresh pair of underwear even if I found myself unable to wash and dry laundry for several days. I will definitely plan on purchasing these again for future trips.

Highly Recommend! Quality + Comfort = Fabulous
Bought for travel, and tried one at home first, to ensure it would be ok. So comfy! I don't even know I have these on. I am 5'4" 140 lbs., a size 6 in panties, and the S-M are perfect. Very happy. No panty lines, either! I don't want to bring home 14 pairs of dirty underwear, nor do I want the extra luggage weight, so these work fine. Although the weight isn't that much an issue; 7 weigh 13.5 oz, whereas 7 of my cotton briefs weigh 16 oz. But still, I love the concept. Whatever you need these for, I expect you to be as pleased with them as I am.

A must have for abdominal surgery
I had a laparoscopic myomectomy and had 3 incisions at the level of my bellybutton. These disposable underwear have been key in my recovery. They are soft and did not stick to or rub on my incisions at any time. I am a size 6 in pants and went with size s/m and they fit perfectly. They offer the slightest bit of compression which was comforting and they came up to right above my bellybutton, offering full coverage to my incisions. Also sanitary napkins adhere very well and will not move from where you place them. I 100% recommend these for any abdominal surgery you may have.

Must have in your hospital bag!!!
This is one life saver when it comes to Csec recovery. I got these for my Csec recovery and they are genuinely made for your comfort. It fits so well holds the pad in place and no worries moving or scooting on the bed. The only problem I had was that when I try to chng my pad it peels off the panty as well... the only suggestion is try to peel the pad off very carefully. This is not only made for Csec recovery it can be worn for your regular periods with comfort as well.

Postpartum
I wore these after delivering my baby, they were great for this purpose. They were a little tight around my thighs but I was usually able to pull them to stretch out and make more comfortable.
