Great Flavor, but low/mild heat 8.5/10.I've ordered this a couple times before, and this was the cheapest price I've found. And I'll definitely get it again. I use this primarily on chicken breasts, toss some on with some olive oil and bake at 375 for ~40 mins and it comes out great. I also use this on veggies mixes that have squashes, zucchini, etc. I've tried other jalapeno spice blends but they're all lacking in flavor compared to this, or loaded with salt and other cheaper spices to increase the volume.One tip, since the heat on this is really mild, if I want to kick it up and make it spicy, I add fresh peppers to marinade the meat with oil and this spice then bake like I listed above, or I'll add a hot pepper flake blend from Flatiron Pepper Co. They pair together pretty well.

We originally received this in a gift basket two Christmases ago. Since then, it has become a staple in our home. My family puts it on everything! A great balance of flavor.Definitely worth a try, or gifting it to those who love to dabble in spices. Bravado has quite a few tasty ones.

While this has great flavor, it is all going to depend on the amount you choose to use.. it is not a “light sprinkle” type of season. One actually needs to season the fire out of it. 22 drums and 10 thighs later and 1/8 of the bottle left.. nah, that’s a bit pricey at $9.99 a bottle. That’s the price of 2lbs hamburger!

I found Jalapeno Garlic All Purpose Seasoning by Bravado Spice to be better than the typical seasonings with jalapeno, yes there is more sodium but you really won't be shaking that much onto your food. The holes in the flip lid are larger than expected for this kind of seasoning so you need to be careful. As far as taste I felt you can feel the heat of the jalapeno yet the actual taste is overpowered by the garlic, this might be more ideal for those who prefer a lighter tasting jalapeno seasoning while keeping the heat to it. Even though I first tried it with chicken & veggies, out of curiosity I had also tried it with Mac & Cheese and it went well with it but I made it using salt free butter so the salt from the seasoning helped with the flavor.As far as recommending, for most a small amount of this seasoning is plenty and I could see the higher sodium could be a decision to avoid for others.

I found this while on vacation and when I ran out I had to buy more. It is good in so many recipes or to sprinkle on food for a little heat but with flavor. I would say it is a medium heat. I like it in mexican food mostly. Try it, you will be happy you did!
