Great aircon unit, v effective at cooling
I was nervous of buying this off Amazon - there wasn’t a single review on the page and the Lexent Sprint hasn’t made it to the front page of the Best Buy section. But I thought I’d risk it as it was about to be the hottest day of the year in the UK and if it didn’t work I could return it. Unfortunately I didn’t get off to the best start as “next day delivery” actually took 4 days, but Bruce from Lexent was very apologetic and explained the heatwave had led to courier issues, which I accepted. When it did turn up though, it was worth the wait. Easy to unpack, with OK instructions (written in Chinglish, though so it takes some working out what it means, especially the 3 pages about the drainage pipe) when the unit is first turned on its in a factory “auto” mode - don’t be fooled, it’s not broken - you just need to use the remote or cycle onto “cool”.I’ve used it for a few hours now and here’s my summary - it’s louder than a fan but on low fan setting no louder than a fixed aircon unit. I’ve screenshotted the sound meter (53 dB from 2m away). The controls are intuitive, and the remote mirrors the top panel, and the cooling is excellent too. It brought down my 30m2 room from 27 degrees C to 21 degrees C in an hour. One issue is the awful app. The instructions don’t refer to it (other than how to turn on “wifi” mode) but when you have downloaded the App from the App store via the QR code on the loose piece of paper, it is impossible to make it work. Adding the aircon unit should be straight forward but the on screen instructions contradict the app Help pages. The password for the aircon unit is 12345678 (buried in the text) but that’s no use when you can’t select the home wifi network as it greys out in a loop of poor GUI and badly written menu pages. In the end I gave up (I’m v tech savvy) as it’s a glitch with the coding and I’m going to just use on the remote. So, overall, 5/5 for the aircon unit, 4/5 for the instructions, 1/5 for the app, and a big thanks to the Lexent team for fighting through the hottest day of the year to get it to me.

Great Looking Product and very efficient Cooling A/C
Had this since the heatwave last summer and it works great as a cooling A?C unit. Not as great as a heater though which I have found out in the cold spell we have had over the last few weeks. I am more than happy with its cooling operation (although it is quite loud at full speed) and would thoroughly recommend it. Would not though recommend it if you want it as a primary source of heating as I had it running for about half an hour at full heat and only just got to lukewarm so it will take the edge off a cold room but may not be powerfull enough for larger areas. As I don't really use it for heating and only tried it out to see how well it worked I would still give it an 8/10 as for the money I paid it is more than worth it.

Cools down only when you are next to it,
About product: It cools down the air only in direct way of blowing air. I have room 3m x 6m and it is really not great. When i cool down one half of the room the second half is hot. I have to turn the machine in another direction to cool down other half but then the first gets hot very quickly.Quite good for a square room 9sqm but also just after turning off it is hot again and takes much more space than only machine dimensions because of the pipe.Very Very heavy. In my opinion not worth the price. Maybe for about £250 would be reasonable.Visually looks good.I don't recommend.Customer service terrible. I returned the item and for more than a month i still didn't get the refund. Seller says it was damaged in transit and sends picture of someone else's parcel! Delays the courier inspection to delay the refund (if he is going to send that at all) and amazon is not helpful as still waits for seller to do it.Beware of this seller!

Decent cold, easy setup, but noisey, not great for a bedroom
I like the style and the wifi though limited functionality on it. Just find it to be noisey even on the lowest fan setting. Also Could be colder, pumps out 16 degrees but small room doesn't go down to that temp, rooms probs around 20 degrees although haven't checked with a thermometer. If I chose again I'd probs pay another 300 for a silent model from Delonghi

What a Machine!!!!
Excellent features. Cooling and heating (heat pump) modes, as well as fan only and dehumidify (dry) modes.Difficult to pair with app, but once done, works pretty well. Once wifi and app set up works with Alexa, sorry not tried with any other home assistants.Only 1 drawback I have found so far. There is a fully automatic mode, but this has fixed factory settings, temperature appears to be 25c.However whenever I have tried it it reaches 25c and then drops into dry mode and just keeps running even though the temperature is below 25c and the humidity (measured independently) is below 50%.I emailed customer support asking what the set points for auto mode where, they couldn't find this in their database and where going to ask at the factory (in China). No response so far.I will chase them up soon, I suspect there may be a bug which will be fixed with a software update at some point. This doesn't stop me from recommending this product highly though.I hope they will either let me know thin information I am after or issue a software update as full auto mode even set at 25c would be useful.Pretty quiet in operation so far, although no doubt as the compressor ages, the nose levels will go up.Compressor does not have variable frequency drive, so you get the usual THUMP as the compressor starts and stops but this is liveable with.Power consumption good, around 1000w when compressor running, which is not bad for 3500w cooling or 3000w heating output. (Based on factory output figures).
