Works like a xharm
Easy to set up, you need to fiddle around where you place it or the filament will not feed. Every machine will be different. Hydrometer is way off but does show reduction in moisture.

Good.
Not perfect, but better than nothing.

Leave door ajar?
Strange design but mostly good. The whole idea is to dehumidify the filament. But this isn't a dehumidifier; it's an almost fully enclosed heater. Heating will decrease air RH% inside (because RH depends on temperature) and so will encourage moisture to come out of the outer parts of the spool but only into the little bit of hot air inside. It could so easily be improved with a little air flow to the external, surely, and will be needed with high moisture content inside. The heater on the lid is a bit odd. If the one at the bottom were powerful enough, this wouldn't be needed. The little laptop fan in the base has no port to the outside; it simply causes air movement inside the unit, which is no bad thing. But other than the two 2mm diameter filament ports near the top (one will be blocked if feeding - maybe one's enough over many hours - but where does the new air come in?), there is no ventilation to the outside. I am using mine with the door slightly ajar to allow a little mixing of air from outside. I'm considering drilling a few small holes in the top. Control seems good, LCD display stays on, LED illumination can be set to off. Temperature can be controlled manually, bearings good enough for spool to turn ok though had to fiddle with one to begin with but only because of the plastic it was mounted in - easy enough to fix.

Effective
Really impressed with this. I have an original Sunlu drier which is ok but this blows it away. It's taken my filament from 50% to 18% moisture. The best thing is that you can set it to dry for days and the filament rolls really well straight from the box into the printer. Already thinking about getting another one!!

Quality
Dose what it says.

Poor quality
Worked okay at first, but less than a year later with very little use, it cannot reach more than 60C.

Design fault
Seems this item has a design fault when in use I notice the humidity actually went up during use. This was after several failed attempts to dry filament. There is no where for the damp air to escape. Printable has a printable spacer for the lid. Will be trying it later this week and hoping for the best
