Got this to secure my home office. I work remotely and have kids, bunch of pets etc and had 1 too many incidents that caused damage to my work computers. Anyways, this knob was dead simple to setup and is very convenient to use. The quality and great price point makes this a no brainer...

I recently purchased this doorknob for my home, and I must say, it has exceeded all my expectations! Not only does it provide top-notch security, but its sleek design and user-friendly features have made it a game-changer for my household.Installation was a breeze, thanks to the clear and concise instructions provided. The doorknob's build quality is exceptional, with a solid and durable feel that gives me confidence in its longevity.What truly sets this electronic doorknob apart is its advanced keyless entry system. No more fumbling for keys or worrying about losing them! The keypad is backlit, making it easy to use even in low-light conditions. I love the convenience of being able to create unique access codes for family members, friends, or trusted service providers, ensuring that my home remains secure at all times.One aspect that truly impressed me is the doorknob's built-in alarm system. The only small problem is that the strike plate is a 1-1/12 inches longer . Its likely more secure than my previous one but it took some minor routing to get it to fit . Happy with the basic , simple operation . Did not want a “smart remote or finger print lock”

Our product arrived yesterday, so the review is still based on it being new to us. First thoughts:The installation was fairly easy. You have to take the handle cover on the battery side off, which is also the side that screws in. Thought went into this because it was easier than installing regular doorknobs. You have space to easily screw in the screws without having to hold it at an awkward angle.Once installed and programmed with a new admin code, the family had fun coming up with their own personal codes. My 7 yr old felt extra special and the 13 year old said he felt "technologically advanced" (lol which probably says more about our home than the product).The programming is easy enough to follow along, but keep the instructions to refer back to. And the buttons are a little awkward to press in a natural hand position, but I'm sure we'll get used to that.

This doorknob has given me peace of mind. My parents and I share a home, and my nieces and nephews are over (perhaps too) frequently. Though I love them dearly, I also recognize that they can be absolute gremlins. But with this doorknob on my door, I know my part of the house is secured from overly rambunctious children who get away with anything when left alone with Gramma and Grampa. I don't have to worry about them getting into my area and disrupting (or destroying) my belongings when I'm not around to supervise them. The knob is little bit bulky, but it's solid and works well. I've had it installed for 3 months and haven't had any issues. It was easy to install, and the instructions for changing the access code were simple.

The product was packaged very well, almost in line with a premium product. But at the same time, the packaging was not too complicated and didn't use too much wasted material, making it fairly echo friendly. I wish they had used cardboard instead of foam for padding, but it's a start.Instructions are simple and easy to follow. Again, love the simplicity and thoughtfulness where they didn't include instructions in 10 different languages for no reason. 5 minute read gives you a sold understanding of what needs to be done.Product looks and feels very premium. It took me under 10 minutes to remove the old lock and install the new one, just by myself. It is definitely a one person job. It might take longer if this is being installed on a new door, but they include templates for marking the holes and cutouts.Love the price. They have made it very affordable. It uses 4 AA batteries, which I am glad are not a custom battery design so I can use regular rechargeable AAs. Two areas for improvement:1. The connector that needs to be wired seems a little delicate so be careful when you thread it through. Good thing you won't ever have to remove it.2. The lock is a little longer than the regular doorknob lock. It's okay if you don't have a second screen or rain door, but factor that in first.Will edit review on durability after 6 months of use.

This electronic keypad door lock is a well designed and highly functional product. I highly recommend its purchase.

I would say that this is probably the best product that I have ever purchased from Amazon, it was soooo easy to install, my husband took maybe 5mins to install it, changing the admin code was such a breeze as well…I will be buying two additional for my kitchen and front door,as well..
