I purchased this product because I suffer from chronic migraines and have many restrictions on what I can and cannot eat to prevent triggering a migraine. This product is all natural and I cannot tell you what a pleasure it is to finally find a seasoning that I can use that is not spicy, but is flavorful and can be used on vegetables, salads, meat and seafood. I can finally eat food that tastes good with this seasoning and not suffer with a migraine after eating!I am so grateful and delighted with this product, I would highly recommend it to anyone that has a restrictive diet where they have to avoid preservatives or spices and need to use natural products.

I have been using this product since the early 70s. I used to buy it from a health food coop in my city and even after I moved, I would drive there to buy it. After that got old, a local high end market sold it. Then they stopped. Rather than resume a search of stores, I searched Amazon. There it was, my old friend. I always try to buy at the best price and with Prime (but don't we all). The product itself is good, a gentle blend of herbs with salt. I like that the herbs displace some of the salt without feeling like there's less salt. I use it in everything I cook that requires salt.

I tried this product for the first time after seeing a recipe on Pinterest and the writer called this magical. She wasn't kidding! Its like no other seasoning I ever tried, and so far its been fantastic on everything Iv'e used on! Potato salad, meatballs, roasts, chicken, pretty much everything I cook. I'm so glad I bought the large size, I adore this stuff. You only need a sprinkle as it is very, very fine, which I love. This was not a miracle seasoning product for me, probably due to the fact that I do not taste or smell very subtle flavors. For someone with a sensitive palate this product is probably a lot more useful. I used it in all sorts of dishes and it only gave me a salty flavor. If you prefer bold herb and spice flavors like me, this product probably won't make a difference in your dishes. I do like the fine powdery consistency of this salt for popcorn.

I use this instead of salt and pepper to season food. The spices add a nice kick without increasing the salt.I've been using this seasoning salt for ~ 40 years. Someone gave me some chicken soup when I was sick one winter with a cold. I told another friend that I had used way too much salt when eating it. She told me about this product and I have used it ever since.Expensive? Perhaps. However, a container this size will last me ~ a year.My only issue is that I wish it came in something other than cardboard. I have ADD and sometimes do "dumb" things. I have learned to wrap the base in aluminum foil to protect the box from getting wet.
