Amazing book to keep on the shelf as a go too for all seasonal workings. Rachel has laid out a years worth of celebrations/rituals with correspondences and how-tos that are easy to follow and understand. A Witch for Every Season will not disappoint you! Rachel has given her knowledge and practicality that makes each section accessible to everyone no matter what experience you have in the Craft. My copy will become well worn and loved as I know I will be constantly pulling it from the shelf to look things up.

Simplicity, heartfelt, inspiring

All I can say is Wow!! This book is what I wish I had years ago when trying to figure out how to honor Earth, The Gods, and Nature. It is chock full of ideas and simple rituals that actually have meaning. But the most amazing thing about Ms Pattersons book is the first chapters that actually tell you how to start using this advice for yourself in your daily life. Usually I look at books with ideas and take some and leave some. This book made me want to make an effort to honor the Earth and our animal friends in a real way that is ongoing. My favorite Goddess is Coventina and her addition is appreciated as well as the rituals that are near her season. Really excellent and sure to be a classic . This is a book you will use all year.

This is a great resource for anyone who wants to celebrate the holidays throughout the seasons. I really like that it includes both Pagan and Christian holidays as well, as I always respect everyone’s celebrations and wish them happy greetings. After all, I hope they’ll do the same die me one day.Each month, you’ll find the holidays, festivals and rituals to go along with them. This is a great way to deepen your practice and celebrate every day of the year, even if it’s not a holiday or festival, it’s a new day!This will make a great Noel gift for all your friends, but be sure to buy one for yourself as well!

This book is a nice change from all the other wheel of the year or sabbath books, in that it goes month by month so you can really dig in and enjoy all the seasons have to offer, it does talk about your basic sabbats as well as other holidays in each month, I read the introduction, but I'm going to read this as each month happens to make the most of the book and really enjoy it.

Each season has its history, recipes, craft ideas and ritual. Moon information and celebration ideas are included. Blank pages are provided to a record of personal planning and events.

I adore Rachel as an author teacher and person. The knowledge she shares is invaluableand her books are just so well written. This book serves well for anyone on this path, no matter how long they've been walking it. Everything you need to know about every Sabbat is in this book, including recipes, which is so unique in books on the craft. An absolute joy to read.
