This is a great piece of kit. Works really well, as soon as you open it you can take a reading which seems really accurate and fast. It's easy to read and clean. Just close it and it switches off. It's magnetic as well so I attach it to my magnetic knife block.

I bought one of these as the Air Fryer cooks meat and fish so quickly and efficiently that i wanted to buy one of these to ensure it’s cooked through properly and thoroughly. It’s been a game changer for me. I now use this thermometer, and its a quick stab of the meat etc and see how high the temp goes up to to see if its cooked. All the recommended termperatures are on the body of the thermometer for ease and quick reference. If the temperature isn’t high enough, back in the air fryer it goes. I which i got one of these ages ago. No guessing if everything is cook properly now. I use it so much it lives on top of my air fryer. I just clean the spike probe with an anti-bac wipe after every use to stop any cross-contamination of food. Brilliant thermometer, very accurate readings, very quick to use and small enough to not take up much space, and a great price for under £10. I’m now reassurance and impressed.

I used it tonight for that fish pie. When I thought it was ready (timewise) to take out, I probed it and it was only 36 degrees gave it another 5 minutes and it was 78 so I think I'll use it a lot actuallyVery quick and simple to useWorth £5.50Recommended

It works fine and is very useful to ensure my food is cooked correctly in my air fryer. I have not used it for food cooked in the conventional oven yet. The only minor thing I have found is that the “hold” and “on, off “ buttons are quite hard to press and the response to temperature seems a bit slow. There is a tiny button underneath the probe which turns the thermometer off when the probe is folded which obviates the need for the on/off button. The thing I like is the thermometer is powered by a cheap AAA battery rather than a button battery.
