My works in progress just got better the minute I received my Trekell Protege brushes. Truly top quality made, bristles dont come loose on your work. Easy to clean, and how smooth the oil paint travels off the brush is unmatched. Im a fan for life.

I can pretty much find a use for any brush, as long as it is well attached to the handle and the bristle don't release into my paintings. These brushes are on the softer side, so they're great for painting on top of base layers. I was really happy to add them to my arsenal of oil brushes!

I am familiar with this company's product and I have used them in the past. They are a very high-end brush and have quality products. The bristles are nice and even and hold quite a bit of paint and the detail brushes are excellent I didn't have to trim any down.

This is a decent set of brushes. I got this set mostly for the smaller detail bristles as one can never have too many doing some of the DIY painting kits I do. They paint smoothly. I have not had any issues with bristles falling off so far. If they continue to perform well, I would get them again.

These are fine but I'm going to be honest- they are absolutely not worth the forty dollar price point when you can get Escoda or other serious artists brushes not made in China (sorry, but with so many companies white labeling budget sub-par products coming out of countless factories, it's the truth). They just don't comare to some of the other artists brushes I have that were actually a lower price point. If these were twenty or less, they would be worth it. They just don't perform at the level I expect for eight plus dollars a brush.

Great brush set! Always wanted to try this brand. The brushes are amazing. I've used them for ink and for watercolors so far. I painted a tiger and a Chinese dragon with them. They hold paint very well, and there's been no stragglers or stray hairs falling out. Not bad for the price, either, they're probably an mid-upper tier brush set for $35.

Very nice collection of six brushes. The synthetic are great for watercolor; they're soft enough to a good amount of paint and water while you're working, but they aren't so soft they don't bounce back and retain their shapes.This selection includes some very versatile shapes and sizes that many beginners and students haven't acquired yet, but which are very useful. I love the two script brushes (#1 and #4) with their extra long bristles which make them great for lettering. The #2 and #6 round brushes are a very useful sizes for most work and the 3/0 round is very small and good for detail work. The 1/2 flat wash brush is also a very useful size for everything from background washes to florals.Very nice additions to your watercolor brush collection. Recommended.

These are very nice paintbrushes. The paint holds on well and the bristles have the perfect give for fine detail work. I recommend these brushes.
