Got this for my kids room, was more concerned about their long hair getting caught in a rotary fan than anything else. I asked a question to the Amazon community before buying, can you change the settings with the remote? Or do you have to use the remote? Many reviews said the remote doesn't work well and I knew my kids would lose it, so this was important to me I got mixed answers. Some said you can't even turn it on/off without the remote, others said you can change the speed, but not the oscillation settings. I am wondering if there are different versions of this fan, and I got one that is slightly different? Mine did not come with a remote at all. I didn't read any directions, but figured out the controls so I figured I would share. A single tough of the digital display changes the speed from L, to 1, 2, 3, ....H, etc. A medium (like one second) hold of the button turns the oscillation setting on/off. And a long hold (like 2 or 3 seconds) turns it off. So no remote, not sure if that was an oversight or if they changed it. All in all, happy with it. Louder than I expected, but a fraction of the price of the name brand that starts with a D and rhymes with risen.

Tiny and it didn’t give out cool air. I’m just going to bite the bullet and pay $300+ for a good quality bladeless fan, because the cheaper ones just doesn’t give out cool air to me.

This fan might work in a 1/2 bathroom but for a room any bigger than that this fan is a dud. I ran the fan on and off over the course of three days to really give it a fair chance. Unfortunately, the air can be felt only if you're within 2 feet of the vents. The face with the vents is small, relative to a comparably priced tower fan, thus there's not much air projecting from this fan. Unfortunately I threw out all the packaging before I even tried it so my garage will be stuck with this.

The media could not be loaded.  I was very dissapointed with this fan, I can not believe how cheap the motor sounds, I like a bit of fan noise, but this is so unpleasant to listen to, very high pitch and it sounds like its rubbing against it's casing. It doesn't provide a lot of air flow for how massive it is, the air coming from it is nice and smooth i have to say. Overall its just terrible, especially for how expensive it is.
