This works! I put it in my tank at the same time as I feed the fish. They manage to actually ingest some by doing this. Had a 40 gallon full of live-bearers "bumping" against everything they could. This cleared it up and I didn't lose any fish. It did take two applications but it works.

It says it contains 10 - 1 gram packets but there is only 190 mg of actual medication in each 1 gram packet 1900 total for the 10 count pack !

I had five tetras with gill flukes really bad that were starting to develop secondary fungal infections and some were even losing their operculum (gill plates). After one treatment they started getting better but one was too far gone and passed before the second treatment. Within a week they’re all looking completely better but one. He’s lost both his gill plates and has his mouth stuck open. The females all got better so I’m assuming his smaller size made him more susceptible to it, Ive switched to paracleanse as it has another med with the prazi and I’m hoping that helps. I have shrimp and snails of four different kinds and none died or even reacted to the meds at all. If you don’t have inverts and have fish in bad shape then double dose because the meds may take too long otherwise. It also works as a soak for individual fish (I do one pack per 8oz of water) but only for max 30 seconds as it pulls all the oxygen out of the water.

I’ve used the Fritz medication for bacterial infections and had success. My fish couldn’t catch a break, I bought new substrate which brought small parasites. I bought this to help him because I could tell something was causing him to itch. 24 hours later after I added the recommended dose he died. When I read review of this killing fish I thought maybe their fish was already really sick and it was coincidentally they used the product. That is not the case with my betta. He was happy and eating, playing in the filter bubbles. I am 100% sure this product killed him. My fault for buying the wrong medication.
