Useful addition to an offset smoker
Added this to a Pitts & Spitts offset smoker, to be able to do shorter burns with a chimney of charcoal and a couple of wood chunks.Overall, impressed with the fit and finish. Went together easily, good design, assembly alignment and hardware quality. I'd prefer a welded basked, but the flat packing is obviously a huge cost saver.Used it in a cook a couple of nights ago and it performed exactly as I expected and wanted.Well done, OK Joe.

Well worth the price.
The media could not be loaded. Purchased this for my Oklahoma Joe’s Barrel Hitch smoker. Assembly was easy. Very sturdy and holds a lot of charcoal. Once again, Oklahoma Joe’s created another quality product. Would definitely buy again, and highly recommend getting this for your offset smoker.

Super easy to assemble. Helps keep coals hot and burning even. Able to fit 12 inch logs fine.

Pain to put together!!
Pain to put together!! They should not put the nuts on the bolts due to how small they are!! Fasteners are really small! Haven't used yet but looks sturdy. Oklahoma Joe's always makes quality products!!

Works good
I got it for my OkJ Highland and it works well, it fits in very nice and it def helps with the cook. Wife said would also be good to use another one as a condiment, bbq tools etc basket. I got mine while on sale for about $10 cheaper than regular cost so was happy about it.

Nach langen warten, aber Dank der Hilfe von Amazon ist mein Oklahoma Joe`s Firebox Korb aus Amerika endlich bei mir angekommen. Das Aufbauen des Korbes war SUPER einfach !!!

Worth the investment
Without this it wasn't really possible to get a consistent temperature on the smoker. Two lit weber starters full of lumpwood coal lasted 6 or 7 hours at least. This along with latches and gasket felt have enabled me finally to use this smoker properly!

It’s nice but not necessary
I bought this and used it once. I don’t think it’s necessary. But quality is good and looks nice.
