I have been using this helmet for a few weeks now. It is much nicer and of much better quality than some of the cheaper helmets I have owned. It's nice and light. The face shield isn't as wonky as the longer shields. This makes it easier to get into tight spots between limbs and brush when I'm working. However, I can get some debris flying back into my face which is uncomfortable at times. So, there is a tradeoff. The best face shield is the one that you have and have deployed. This shield is very easy, convenient and less cumbersome, so I naturally seem to deploy it without thought. I also wear glasses. The shield easily comes over the glasses with plenty of ventilation so I don't have fogging issues. The helmet also has generally good venting, so I don't overheat unnecessarily. The ear protection can easily be swung into place or out of the way. With other helmets that I have had, this feature broke almost right away. This is the best hardhat I have ever worn, very comfortable, vents work great for keeping your noggin cool, chin strap comfortable, visor could be a little darker while limb trimming against a bright hazy sky. The attachable ear muffs work great for (I'm guessing) about 20-30db of noise protection. Instruction that come with the hardhat are lacking but you can find additional information online. Definitely recommend.

So far I like the helmet and can wear it fairly comfortably but haven't worn it enough to become used to it being on my head. I will be attaching a GoPro to it.

Awesome, nice looking, and great wearing safety helmet. Very satisfied with product for my crew, with the chin strap, when they bend over to work, the helmet will stay on their head!

Before getting to how ridiculously awesome I made this I'll comment on the helmet itself. Very comfortable and light weight. Sure not has good as I would expect from something supplied by a company and absurdly priced. But for a homeowner cutting firewood this is a great bump helmet.Got the plain helmet and added ARC rails from an airsoft helmet I was replacing. It took some modification and ingenuity but it works great.This allowed me to add my Life Mounts LED Tactical Helmet ARC Rail Light (Black) with Crimson trace light that is wired into a battery pack held on by wolfslaves Helmet Battery Pouch MK2 Helmet Battery Pouch Counterweight 600D Nylon Helmet Battery Bag.Most importantly I could use my Peltier hearing protection mounts with Walker Razor Bluetooth hearing protection.I was able to transfer over my GearOZ Coon Hunting Lights, Hunting Headlamp for hound hunting at night.To protect my face from brush and things flying at me while operating my chainsaw I added on a cheap LEJUNJIE Tactical Full Face Steel Mesh Mask Fast Helmet Accessory Protective Mask.The helmet color was just a little off from matching my Stihl saw and/or Kubota. I happen to be in the local hardware store and saw a can of Kubota orange spray paint. So I added to the ridiculousness of it by taking the absurd amount of time to paint it so it matches my tractor.

I had bought a different one & the attached safety glasses gave me the fish bowl effect.This one fits well & I can use the attached safety glasses.

This is a must for safety when using a weed whacker. Dirt, rocks, and grass went flying, the shield stopped it all.

Have used the helmet a few times now for cutting down trees. It's comfortable to wear for a longer time period, has good ventilation, and built in visor is great.

Breaks easily, needs stronger ear muffs and straps

The side cracked on first shift out in the bush. Not impact related. Pressure from the earmuffs.

Comfortable but did not meet the requirements of my job site. Ear protection was also very weak. No included tags stating helmet class. I returned this item.
