It worked for me.
I purchased the item because the wireless adapter in my laptop wouldn't hold a 5g wireless channel. I tried everything, resetting both my router and wireless adapter several times. A friend of mine has the newest version of my laptop, (mine is 2 years old). I compared the specs and diagrams and saw that the newer laptops have the wireless antennas in a different position than mine. I ordered the Seojack unit based on a friend's recommendation and much to my delight it performs as advertised. Installation was simple and fast. The external antenna rotates, and is out of the way, although I would recommend removing the device prior to putting the laptop in a case or sleeve. Since the device has been installed I have been able to hold the faster 5g wireless channel anywhere in my 2 story apartment. The signal is fast, steady, and I can even connect from my patio which I couldn't before without the use of a wireless extender that I no longer use. I'm sure there are other adapters that work well, but this one lived up to my friend's recommendation, and the manufactures claims. Oh, and the price was right as well.

5 stars for the Worry-Free Warranty. I couldn't get the first device that I was mailed to work. The tech support worked with me on every single software solution to try to fix the problem on my end. After no success, they sent me another Wifi adapter with no hoops to jump through and no more questions asked. It was delivered two days later. and lo and behold, plug it in, and it works just fine! Internet speed is great! Customer service was perfect!
