Naked Hearts: A Dark Mafia Reverse Harem Romance (The Hearts Trilogy) Paperback – November 10, 2021

This story is very different from anything I've read before.. I really liked that the h was a single Mom. This author is new to me and I would definitely read other books by her. I've been waiting for the release of Naked Hearts for awhile now and I was not disappointed after reading it. Do not take take the trigger warnings lightly that being said I didn't find anything in the book to be offensive for me personally. Naked hearts is RH with MM. It has dark themes but is not what I would consider overly dark. I can't wait to read what Anouk will release in the future!

I’m at gutted at the end of this. Definitely read the trigger warnings. There were some scenes or choices I could of lived without. Overall I couldn’t put it down once I got about 60% of the way in. Wow. I don’t want to ruin anything but i will say if wanted to fall in love and have your heart broken all at the same time, READ THIS BOOK!Ps only a 4 star because I’m a harsh critic and I can’t in good conscious day I will read this again but I would highly recommend.

This is a story that is exciting and energetic. The controlling guys want to be with a single mother and her three children. I cannot describe the storyline. You have to read the passion, the caring, the romance, and the relationships love affair.

Overall, I think this is a good book. The characters aren't bad and I feel that you can connect to them. But I do have some dislikes. Guy/Guy action, it's not a problem, I have read many books with it, but when the author first introduced this book idea on Facebook, I felt that it was more into Reverse Harem trope rather RH with M/M and M/F action. I can see how some people got confused when the guy on guy action entered the equation because nothing was said about it through the intro. Another thing I had a issue with was that I didn't really know the difference between Angel's job and Greg's job. How the authors describe them on Facebook is that Angel is the Muscle and Greg is the Sentinel. But if you look up Sentinel the meaning is kind of like a guard. And I would take that would be Angel's job. Honestly I would consider Greg more as maybe the boss's right-hand man. So there was a little confusion between what they actually did. What I really didn't like though was how in certain chapters, the author put the female lead's name to show it was her point of view and then all throughout the chapter you would still find the FL's name over paragraphs in the same chapter that's supposed to be her point of view. I don't see the point of that, I feel a name should only be brought up once at the beginning of the chapter and if the point of view changes to some else at any point in the chapter.

This book was dark and gritty. I loved the connection, acceptance and steam between the characters. I do believe there could have been more depth to the men that won the FMC’ heart. By adding more depth and background to these characters this could have easily been a duet.

I think this book has so much amazing potential but things need to be written out more, especially about the guys. We know only 1 story that just connects 2 of the 4 guys. How do the others fit in? Add a bit more and this will be a top readers book for me.

Yeah I’m definitely not a submissive. I think it’s well written but definitely wasn’t for me. I couldn’t stand the main characters personality. Not my kinda kinks I guess. I can’t imagine getting off on pain and degradation.

Couldn’t put it down, (who needs sleep). Overall a fantastic read, though I do recommend caution if you have any triggers as this is a dark romance but a romance none the less, complete with HEA.

Rapid page turner some parts were very hard to read but that’s how some people manage pain.Storyline is good and the characters had very strong lines.I did love reading it.
